The champions of the great outdoors are offering great value on spring time getaways. For families with children between the ages of five and 17 years, the kids can stay for just £1 per night at selected sites across the UK – a great money saving offer available throughout the season.

Take a journey back in time through Scottish history with a stay at Culloden Moor Club Site. Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands the site is just a stone’s throw from the Culloden Battlefield where Bonnie Prince Charlie met his defeat. Other popular spots nearby include Loch Ness, Moray Coast and Glen Affric, all offering stunning walks and scenery. There is also a playground and baby changing facilities available on site to ensure the little ones are catered for.

A stay at Culloden Moor Club Site costs from £23.30 per night based on two adults and two children per pitch, per night in a caravan or motorhome.

If you’re looking for an active break this Easter Exebridge Lakeside Club Site in rural Somerset offers access to a host of cycling and walking routes. Nearby Wimbleball Lake also offers coarse and fly fishing for keen anglers and the site is just a short stroll to the pretty town of Dulverton. The sandy beaches of North Devon are also available to explore, ensuring there is plenty to keep the children busy. Back on site there is a games room, play area and playground to enjoy after a day exploring.

A stay at Exebridge Lakeside Club Site costs from £23.40 per night based on two adults and two children per pitch, per night in a caravan or motorhome during April.

To enjoy a coastal getaway, a stay at White House Beach Club Site is the perfect choice. Situated next to the beach and surrounded by willow trees for a truly picturesque setting the site is located a short drive from the sandy beach of Lowestoft and the Africa Alive safari park – a great way for the family to spend a day of adventure, exploration and education. Other attractions nearby include Framlingham Castle and Pleasure Wood Hills Theme Park.

Harvey Alexander, director of marketing, the Caravan and Motorhome Club commented:

“As we start to look forward to the new season, now is the ideal time to book a getaway with the family. Easter is always a great time of year to enjoy the great outdoors and there are a host of sites across the UK to encourage children to get outside and explore. With the added benefit of children staying for just £1 per night there is no better time to book a break away.”
