Situated two miles outside of Tralee on the N86 (Dingle Road), Blennerville Windmill is the largest working windmill in Ireland and was Kerry's port of emigration during the Great Famine. A fun attraction for all ages, enjoy a tour of the windmill demonstrating how flour is made using ancient quorn stones, or visit Kerry's Model Railway Exhibition - a great hit with the kids! Opened in 1972 by Henry Nelson, the British in India Museum presents an impressive range of swords, kukris, commemorative boxes and plates, as well as coins, photographs, paintings and a whole host of other artefacts. No disabled access, please ring for details. Car parking is available. Directions: look out for 'Doorstep Self Storage' signs at the venue. Museum sign-in on the gate post.
