Day 1 – Arrival at Grubhof (G04)

Grubhof is located in a picturesque setting with the Alps mountain range rising in the background. Once you’ve settled into the site, meet your fellow members and Tour Hosts, and enjoy a welcome drink and a three course dinner.

Day 2 – Discover Lofer

Enjoy a short guided walk around Camping Grubhof and its castle followed by the rest of the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon visit the picturesque village of Lofer on this self-drive excursion. Discover the high alpine meadows by cable car and enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 3 – Free time at your leisure

You can do as you please today. You might want to explore more of the surrounding region or you can relax at the campsite.

Day 4 – Visit the impressive Krimml Waterfalls

One of Europe’s highest waterfalls, set in the stunning scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Krimml falls is a tiered waterfall consisting of three stages that plunge down the mountainside. This will be followed by a stop at the National Park Centre in Mittersill - an impressive visitor experience centre where you can learn about the extraordinary diversity of the Alps in a series of 'Nature Rooms', and experience 360° panoramas of this astonishing and gorgeous area.

Day 5 – Free time at your leisure

The campsite’s facilities include a luxurious spa and sauna, why not treat yourself?

Day 6 – Explore the UNESCO World Heritage City of Salzburg

Enjoy a full day coach excursion to Salzburg today, including a guided inner city walk. There's plenty to see in this historic city including Mozart's birthplace, the imposing Hohensalzburg Castle and the beautiful baroque Mirabell Palace and Gardens.

Day 7 – Free time at your leisure

Perhaps you’d like to relax on the bank of the river Saalach that flows past the campsite and let time slide gently by today.

Day 8 – Visit Innsbruck

Innsbruck is the capital of the Tyrol region and today offers a full day coach excursion to the city where you can enjoy a guided inner city walk. On the way back, enjoy a trip to the famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, one of Austria's most popular attractions.

Day 9 – 14: Grossglockner High Alpine Road and Lake Königsee

Day 9 – Free time at your leisure

Day 10 – A full day excursion along the spectacular Grossglockner High Alpine Road

This takes you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Pass through a spectacular mountain landscape filled with forests, meadows and cliffs as you ascend to an altitude over 2500 metres, and view the Grossglockner itself, Austria's highest mountain, alongside the Pasterze glacier.

Day 11 – Free time at your leisure

Day 12 – Boat trip on Lake Königssee

Cross the border into Germany and neighbouring Bavaria today. Relax on a boat trip on the crystal clear waters of Lake Königssee and visit the remarkable church of St Bartholomew on its western shore. Afterwards you will visit the small town of Berchtesgaden.

Day 13 – Enjoy a free day at your leisure

Today is free for you to spend the time as you choose, giving you the opportunity to take a last chance to see more of Austria. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner at the Grubhof restaurant.
