Day 2 | Niagara Falls
Enjoy a full day excursion by coach to world famous Niagara Falls. Pass through the picturesque wine region of the Niagara Peninsula on your way. On arrival at the falls you have some free time to enjoy the spectacular sight of American Falls and Horseshoe Falls that combine to make Niagara Falls.
For a unique view of the spectacular Horseshoe Falls, a boat ride is included after lunch. On the way back to Toronto, journey along the beautiful Niagara Parkway and Niagara-on-the-Lake, voted ‘Canada’s Prettiest Town’.
Day 3 | Toronto

Be sure to visit Eaton Centre for shopping and dining, Chinatown, Old Town Toronto, or delve into the city's many fascinating ethnic markets. When the feet can walk no more, head back to your hotel and enjoy the indoor pool, sauna and steam room. By night, Toronto is well-known for gourmet dining and a lively local music scene.
Day 4 | VIA Rail from Toronto to Ottawa
Board VIA Rail's Business Class service to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, today. Toronto’s Union Station is a sight in itself, so make sure you look up as you pass through. The journey takes approximately 4 hrs 15 mins, so make yourself comfy and enjoy the scenery passing by your window. On arrival in Ottawa you’ll transfer to your hotel for the next 2 nights, the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. This magnificent limestone landmark is next door to the Parliament Buildings and is situated on the bank of the Rideau Canal.
Day 5 | Ottawa
This morning take a guided tour of the nation's capital including Canada's Parliament Buildings, the Embassies, the Prime Minister's residence and Rideau Falls. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city as you wish. Perhaps head to the National Arts Centre, visit Byward Market or hire a bike and enjoy a gentle ride along the canal. Be sure to head for lively Elgin Street tonight and dine in one of the many fine restaurants.
Day 6 | Montreal
It’s back on the train as you travel Business Class for the 2 hour journey to your next destination of Montreal, Canada's most cosmopolitan city. Canada's 'Cultural Capital' is home to legendary sites like the gorgeous Notre Dame Basilica, the famous Olympic Complex and Mount Royal Park. The afternoon is free to explore the nooks and crannies of Old Town Montreal.
Day 8 | Quebec City
An early morning VIA Rail departure today for your 3 hours 30 minutes trip from Montreal, that sees you following the St. Lawrence River to the ‘Ancient Capital’, Quebec City. The only walled city in North America, Quebec City is in a word, charming.
Spend the next three days admiring the architecture and uncovering history, which can be found down every cobblestone lane.
