This popular campsite is spacious and well-kept, with level grass pitches laid out in regular rows and linked by footpaths. It’s family friendly, with landscaped areas ideal for outdoor games, a supervised pool complex with a water slide and a small farm.
Amenities are plentiful, with a supermarket and bakery available onsite as well as a good restaurant.
This site is a short drive away to a sandy beach and watersports where water sports such as windsurfing and canoeing can be enjoyed.
Ypres and the First World War battlefields are close by and shouldn’t be missed, while the pretty medieval city of Bruges is a 45-minute drive from the site. Be sure to take in the ornately carved ceiling inside the 14th century Stadhuis (City Hall) and climb the 83m tower of the 13th century belfry in Markt Square for panoramic views.
