Why stay here ...

A rural site set inland, Le Domaine du Logis is well-kept by enthusiastic owners. The facilities, which include an excellent restaurant that’s open most of the season, are housed in converted barns and farm buildings, giving the site a traditional Breton feel.

Popular with a range of nationalities, the site has large, grassy pitches with easy access. These have a range of settings, some open and some in a woodland environment.

Bikes are available to rent at reception, and the flat routes along the canals are a real pleasure to cycle. The picturesque town of Rennes, with its 17th century parliament building and extensive Thabor Gardens, is half-an-hour by car, while nearby Combourg is worth visiting for its granite fortress and pretty lake.

5 night stay September

Stayed here 5 nights at the start of September 2 adults no children. The campsite was easy to find, was well equipped and well placed for visiting the surrounding area. We visited St Malo, Dinan plus the emerald coast whilst there. Had a lovely meal at the on site restaurant and enjoyed a tasty take away pizza on another night. Staff helpful and friendly and the facilities were good and always kept nice and clean. All in all a very good site and worth a visit.

Fabulous

What a find, if only we could pick this site up and take it around France, it is more that a 5*. Arrival - a lovely welcome, we were able to park up and wander around and choose our pitch. There are well established pitches with lovely hedges (not a branch out of place), it looks like there is a new area with bushes just growing, this we think would make a nice family area as there was room for children to play. We chose an established pitch which was a good size and easy to pitch up. The showers/toilets are superb. There is even a dish washer! The pool area is lovely with a small new area for children (not on the photos). The bar area is nice and the Restaurant was fabulous, it was closed on a Wednesday which was a shame as it was our last night, but we managed 2 visits out of 5 nights. There is a canal just up from the site, great cycle tracks, lovely to find new villages, the reception can give you maps, but they are in French. If you pop into Combourg the Tourist info will print in English for you. We don't have children but there was a kids club, but it was not in your face unlike the last site we were on. There was also a pool Mokey class. All the staff are fabulous. Only one regret, if we had known how lovely this site was we would have left our other site earlier. We like to try different sites, but we will return.

10 night stay june 18

Had been to this site two years ago and returned this year, it is a lovely well maintained site we use this site so it is close to St Malo for our return sailing, staff nice and friendly and well spoken English, toilets and shower are lovely and clean as well pool area and bar area are very nice, and restaurant if you wise to use the restaurant some day it is shut, there are plenty of placers to visit you have comborge/ diner/Dennard/ St Malo/St, Machelle its a must if you have never been, I would recommend this site and we will go back at some point in the future lovey welcoming site.

Beautiful 5 star site

Regrettably we only stayed one night here. Can see why it's rated 5 star. Immaculate facilities. Lovely pool. Very pleasant woman on reception. The restaurant and menu looked very nice but unfortunately was closed on the night we were there (Wednesday). Great croissants. Only downside is that the pitches are pretty close together/tight but it didn't matter for our 1 night stay. Would definitely return if we are back in the area.

Probably the best

We were here at the beginning of September, and we think this is probably the best site we have ever been to in France. There was nothing to fault, and I hope we will return in the future.
