Why stay here ...

This friendly site south of St Malo has a rural setting and a peaceful atmosphere in low season. In peak months, it becomes a lively location and offers lots of organised entertainment, a playground and mini-golf. Activity during the day is focused around the pool complex (children will enjoy Coco Splash water park), meaning that those pitches set further from this central hub are fairly quiet, even in summer.

Touring pitches are grouped together and separated by shrubs and flowers. Although of a good size, access can be tight for those with larger units.

There are lots of towns to discover nearby including St Malo, Cancale and Dinan. Keen walkers and cyclists will love the GR 34 route, which winds around the coast with its scenic inlets, cliffs and beaches.

Great at this time of year

We used this site for three nights to tour the area (Saint Malo, Dinan ). The site was very clean, pools etc lovely and the staff very friendly. We are fortunate to be retired so this time of year the site was fairly quiet. I can imagine it will be a different story in school holidays. However, children would love it

Le ptit bois

We booked this site and were very pleased with its close location to st Malo, we took the Portsmouth overnight crossing with our twin axle caravan. We did email the site before and discovered we couldn't arrive directly on site so parked in a lay by at the commerce area about a mile away from the site, we found out we could have parked on the supermarket Cora's car park no problem. The site staff were all very friendly and helpful. Access was a bit tight but we managed to enter and leave our avenue without the use of mover but did use it to pitch. The pitch was out of level parking as we usually do so decided to pitch inwards which worked. We had enough room to have our awning and canopy (which we needed to provide shade!) the toilet block was kept very clean, we were there from 22nd August so still in peak, plenty of showers and toilets. Food on site, takeaway or eat in was of a very good standard and reasonably price, shop was a bit pricey and closed at lunch until 4 but you could still buy baggettes from reception. The pool complex was superb, didn't use the indoor pool because the weather was so warm 43• on one day! Everything else you may need is only a short drive away, Cora supermarket which we thought was like Asda only better and price leader more like lidl, McDonald's, bricolage, plenty of lovely local markets, dinan, dinard and the bus that is at the end of the site road that takes you into st malo gare, you catch another bus into the walled town included in your €2.30 ticket that allows you 1.5 hours travel. We will be returning.

Overnight Stop

Used for one night prior to catching a ferry from St Malo to Portsmouth. Adequate for the purpose but pitches can be tight for long outfits. Journey from the site to the port is very convoluted due to 'road improvements'. Sat Nav does not find site easily. Very pleasant staff in reception. Good pool and Bar area.

A good place to stop

Good facilities with good showers, toilets and a well stocked shop, Unless you a have a car you need to walk, an easy, 2Km to the bus stop which drops you at the bus station in St Malo. Convenient for ferry stopover. Staff friendly. Pitches good, grass mainly, but access to the pitch may be a little tight if you have a big unit. All in all a good place to stay.
