Why stay here ...
This friendly site, set in the peaceful, wooded grounds of a 19th century château, is ideally located for a stopover at the beginning or end of a holiday, but also worth a longer stay. You'll be greeted warmly by the English-speaking staff at reception, and children will be kept entertained with a pool, games room and play area. chateau out-building houses the good restaurant and bar.
Dogs will enjoy walks through the woodland, and can be taken onto some beaches nearby (ask at reception). Many visitors overlook the area’s attractions, but the rugged Opal Coast is well worth exploring. The port town of Boulogne-sur-Mer has an array of ancient monuments that bear witness to its 2,000-year history, while Saint-Omer’s cathedral and public gardens are a delight to discover and Eperlecques’ Blockhaus, where early V1 bombs were launched on London, makes for a chilling but interesting trip.
