Why stay here ...

This charming site is the ideal base from which to explore the Camargue, famous for its wild horses and flamingos. Although large, it has a relaxed, rural feel and caters well to families with its onsite riding school, large pool area surrounded by palm and olive trees and a well organised entertainment programme.

The English-speaking staff are cheerful and helpful and will gladly provide details on the fortnightly Ferrade days, when guests can visit local breeding farms to learn about the Camarguaise bulls and horses. This site is very lively during high season. Remember to pack some mosquitoes repellent as it might be necessary in the summer time.

The medieval walled town of Aigues Mortes is on the doorstep of the campsite and offers some spectacular views from its ramparts. There are also plenty of beautiful Mediterranean beaches to enjoy, and Montpellier – a spirited city and home of Europe’s first medical school – is a 40-minute drive.
