Why stay here ...
Situated between Montpellier and Nîmes, and adjacent to an extensive vineyard, this site is efficiently run and appeals to couples and young families looking for a peaceful stay. It has a natural, wooded setting with well-shaded pitches of varying size and the facilities include a restaurant, an excellent new pool complex with waterslides and balneotherapy.
The English-speaking owners are proud of the site and work hard to keep it clean and well presented. Tours of the Massereau vineyards can be arranged at reception and the wines are available to buy.
There’s no shortage of things to do in the local area. A cycle path runs from the campsite to the medieval town of Sommières, with a relaxed atmosphere and several good restaurants, and to Caveirac. Nîmes, with its Roman amphitheatre and temple, is within driving distance, while the vibrant town of Montpellier has a lively University district and some fabulous classical architecture.
