Why stay here ...

Thibaud and Anne Lambelin  welcome you warmly to this small site built around an 18th century water mill, situated on the banks of the Ceou river surrounded by wooded hills.

A small site with lovely grassy pitches, a cosy indoor lounge and the outdoor terrasse of the  “Brasserie du Moulin”  where you can taste Anne's home cooking, using the seasonal produce of the area, which is famous for its gastronomy.

Just at the entrance, there is a small fishing lake where you can take a stroll past it up to the local village to digest your meal and enjoy the views. Occasional on site activities include wine tasting, occasional concerts and quiz nights, alternatively just sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a small site in rural France.

Le Moulin de Bel Air
We have just had 9 nights at this beautiful site it is very quiet and peaceful and loads to do round and about Anne and Thibaud who own the site and their team can’t do enough for you the pool area is beautiful and kept immaculately clean and the bar and restaurant was a pleasant place to be serving excellent food and reasonably priced drinks would definitely recommend and we will be back

Returned for a 3 week stay

Le Moulin de Bel Air
We found this site last year, we enjoyed it so much we have returned again for a 3 week stay. This site is 16km from A20 Autoroute, you pass 2 other sites to get here, having looked at these sites Moulin-Bel- Air is by far the best. Thibaud and Anne are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant and bar has a great atmosphere, along with great food and drink. There this plenty to see and do in the area, pretty rural villages and lovely towns, an abundance of great restaurants and bars. The weather is always nice, we highly recommend this site. Not to be missed

Wonderful Two Weeks

Le Moulin de Bel Air
We have thoroughly enjoyed a very wonderful two week stay at this privately owned campsite in our caravan, we thought the natural surroundings and its location would be ideal for our needs, and it has more than met our expectations. We received a very warm welcome from the owners Thibaud and Anne, along with a very useful brochure all about the site and its surroundings, with what to do and where to go, perfect for planning and getting our bearings on the first day. We had the choice of several large grassy pitches on this lovely natural site, arriving just as all the leaves and spring daisies were coming into bloom, the longer we stayed the prettier it became. We settled on an oversized plot with a blissful view of the valley behind the campsite and enjoyed colourful gorgeous sunsets most nights. The Moulin du Bel Air has a green heart too, caring for its environment, keeping their own chickens and goats, and encouraging environmental practices such as extra split recycling points and the composting of your green waste, There was a very friendly open hospitality at all times shown by the lovely owners, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. We enjoyed several visits to their colourful rustic open-air Brasserie style terrace and bar, and liked that most of their food products came from organic farmers and local producers. When the weather turned cooler or wet their indoor bar above the water mill was ideal, along with a log burner making it cosy and inviting. We were invited to aperitifs by Thibaud and Anne the first week to meet all the other guests, which was such a lovely thing to do. The site is also in a superb region of the beautiful valleys of the Lot & Dordogne, so within an hour by car we were able to visit lots of the most amazing medieval villages, abbeys, chateaux, exotic gardens, prehistoric caves, local markets and more. We will definitely be back, as it feels like we have only just scratched the surface of what there is to see and do here. We had such a good time and were sad to leave. So if you fancy a great relaxing location with wonderful hosts, and a beautiful campsite you couldn’t do much better that this. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Relaxing weekend

Le Moulin de Bel Air
My husband and I recently stayed a long weekend on this site. Thibaud and Anne were very attentive without being overpowering. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and head up a hard working, friendly, caring team. The site is relaxing with amazing walks, bike rides (hilly) and places to explore nearby or a small drive away. The bar and restaurant were charming and used by the locals too, which is nice to see. We cannot recommend the site highly enough. We will be back. Thibaud and Anne have recently taken on this campsite and have worked hard to get it to a good standard and we wish them luck over this coming summer, their first real season without Covid lockdowns.
