A little about the site

Located 15km inland from the Costa Blanca coastline, this large site remains a firm favourite with members in winter because it offers outstanding facilities such as a spa, gym and indoor pool complex. Members booked on our Hosted Holiday can enjoy 1 entry per week (Mon-Fri) free of charge for 1 hour each in the gym and the indoor pool (any extra visits are payable locally).  There are also aquagym sessions available, some of which may be exclusive to members on the Hosted Holiday (subject to availability). Both the gym and pool are fully accessible.

There's a supermarket, hairdressing salon, medical service and an excellent restaurant and a bar area with seating in the outdoor central plaza which gives it a lovely local feel.

There is an entertainment programme organised by the campsite and your Club Hosts will help organise coffee mornings, group meals, quiz nights, boules and minigolf competitions amongst other things.
Group members may volunteer to lead walking or cycling trips or run other activities or lessons in the Clubhouse - the range of activities depends on members with relevant skills volunteering so will change throughout the rally period.  Activities are subject to availability, some have extra charges payable locally.
The site has almost everything guests may need for a long stay but those wishing to get out and about can enjoy some lovely cycling routes around the nearby nature reserve. The Costa Blanca beaches and the vibrant port of Alicante are also within easy reach and excursions to other popular towns such as Murcia and Cartagena can easily be arranged.

Catral (2kms), Terra Mitica & Natura in Benidorm (87kms), Rio Safari in Elche (23kms), Cycling routes, Guardamar del Segura beach (15kms sandy & safe to swim), River in Segura (15kms).

Excellent place to spend the winter

Alannia Costa Blanca Winter Holiday
Alannia Costa Blanca Rally 2024 Here we are again on ARC (Alannia Rally Club) hosted by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. This is our 3rd year here with the Club although we had been before with the other side. It is always a pleasure to meet up and form our little village again for a few months in the sun. The Rally Hosts, Lyn, Rosina, Bob and Jack have had to work extra hard this year with a cut in their numbers, but the ralliers have mucked in and helped out. Sue and I have been heartened to see so many new to rallying and not just in Spain, hopefully they will continue in the UK. Best wishes to the Rally Hosts and all our friends and just to reassure you, I have my kilt already packed.

Amazing site with excellent hosts

Alannia Costa Blanca Winter Holiday
This was our first visit to Alannia and it won't be our last. Its just perfect for us we only wish we had booked for longer.. The facilities are first class. The staff in the restaurant bar and reception were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to our hosts Lyn, Bob, Rosina and Jack who work hard to provide a variety of entertainment and support to everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They do an amazing job. Looking forward to next year.

Great rally, lots of laughs.

Alannia Costa Blanca Winter Holiday
Our second visit to Alannia and already looking forward to next year’s fun. Large rally on a large site but with wonderful facilities. Site has its own plaza but the rally also has a club house. Location remote if you don’t have your own transport but lots of fun activities in the rally and local car hire is available. Great for cycling as mostly flat. Thank you to our hosts who worked tirelessly to organize all the activities. We would have no hesitation in recommending the rally as it is excellent. Rod and Kim

First time on a hosted rally

Alannia Costa Blanca Winter Holiday
This was our first time on a hosted rally and we both have to say that the hosts (Jack, Rosalina, Bob, Lyn)were exceptional, helpful, professional and go the extra mile for all who attend the rally. They worked tirelessly to make the whole rally experience a fabulous one. The site is outstanding! With all the facilities you could wish for indoor swimming pool, spa, aqua swimming, yoga and the list goes on! Small shop that has everything you require, hairdressers too. The bar has a restaurant, having eaten there many times can’t complain the staff are lovely as is the food. Happy hour on a Thursday is not to be missed with free entertainment makes for a cracking evening, the local town is 3km and can be walked, cycled or driven if you wish with every kind of restaurant, bars, doctors, dentists, vets and if you need anything the large local store has everything from fancy dress to tools all under one roof. Being a dog family, it’s been amazing with lots of walks for them both and a secure play area for them to run around in. Definitely be booking again! Enjoyed our time so much we’re sad to leave! The rally works because of the hosts and all the volunteers who organised cycle rides, walks, crafts, games, lunches out! To you all a huge thank you, you’re all amazing!

Excellent place to spend the winter

Alannia Costa Blanca Winter Holiday
By the time we left on the 1st April we had been on the Alannia Costa Blanca site for 78 nights having arrived for the rally a day early. This is our third time on the site and only the second with CAMC hosting the event. Although it is a large site it is very well run and the staff are always willing to help and do so with a smile. Within the site there is a bar/bistro, restaurant for functions, small supermarket, spa, gym indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, tennis courts and much more. The site can be considered to be remote with the nearest town, Catral being about 3 km away it is a good walk but a gentle cycle ride away. The town has supermarkets, restaurants, China shop, doctors, dentist, pharmacies and vets. This year there has been no electricity (which is metered) included in the site fee which is understandable in the current energy crisis so you basically pay for what you use. Spanish LPG cylinders (Repsol) are available on site. A cylinder can be hired for your stay as long as you have a current service report. The pitches are of a good size with low hedges and a fine gravel finish which is easily carried into the van. A ground sheet is advisable and can be bought on site. A freestanding clothes drier will also be needed as drying lines tied to trees is not allowed. Over the years we have made many, many friends who we will hopefully meet up with again next year, as well as meeting new friends. We have found this year’s rally to be as if a community was coming back together after an enforced separation. The weekly schedule soon filled up with events organised by the hosts with ralliers filling in slots with bike rides, walks, crafts and musical jamming sessions, etc. It is a case of the more you put n the more you will get out. The rally hosts work incredibly hard to make this event the success it is and both Sue and I looked forward to returning next year. The only negative comment I would make is about dogs barking. It an the age-old issue to which there does not seem to be an easy solution other than owners taking more responsibility for their pets and respecting other people’s right peace and quiet.
