Why stay here ...

Located in the Marina Baja region of the Costa Blanca, Alicante Imperium is on the outskirts of Villajoyosa - a charming Mediterranean coastal town. The owners have put their thirty years of camping experience to good use by designing a lovely site with excellent facilities.

The unique ‘avenue’ design with different sized pitches means the grounds are easy to navigate and there are plots suitable for all outfits. Among the well-kept amenities are a small shop, two Roman inspired pools and a bar and restaurant which afford stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Villajoyosa town is steeped in tradition with pretty, coloured houses, characterful streets and a history that dates back to the Roman times. The area is known for superb paella and there are several chocolate factories with guided tours and tastings nearby.

Close to Benidorm but nothing like your typical Benidorm site

Camping Alicante Imperium
We stayed here early May 2023, I agree with other reviews, site is we laid out with good sized serviced pitches EHU, grey waste and water. Toilet and shower block clean and in excellent condition. About 1 Km walk to Villajoyosa beach and promenade, steep set of steps down to beach area, so a steep walk out also, bars and restaurants were great. On site bar/restaurant was good, had a fantastic breakfast on the day we left. There is a metal recycling centre next to site, so can be some noise early morning, dog walking was along a busy narrow road (100m) before you could reach quieter rural roads. Cycling in this area was safe but got busier the closer you get to Benidorm, to be expected. Will definitely return.

Excellent stop off between Costa Del Sol and Valencia

Camping Alicante Imperium
This is a lovely site, which is well laid out with a good road network and plenty of space to manoeuvre a caravan or large motorhome. Excellent pool area and bar with live entertainment. The site is conveniently situated off the AP7 and is close to a range of facilities in the local town and also Benidorm. The toilet block was excellent. The pitches here are very spacious, with water and drainage. I didn’t hear the dogs but had air conditioning running making for a peaceful nights sleep. I would return to this site.

Fantastic new site

Camping Alicante Imperium
I booked in here for 2 nights and stayed a week. Wished I could have stayed longer. Friendly and efficient staff. Good pitches with water, drainage and Tv. Excellent shower and toilet block. Free wifi. Lovely bar and excellent value restaurant on site. Some great views from campsite. There is lots to see and do nearby whether it be cycling into town or the beautiful beaches. Guadalest and Benidorm are both about 20 minutes drive away. Chocolate factories also on the doorstep where you can buy direct=heaven! My only criticism is that dogs in nearby properties can be extremely noisey at 5am but I guess thsts beyond the campsites control otherwise this campsite woukd get full top marks from me. Certainly one of the best along this Coast. We will be back!
