Very nice site ,If a little squashed in

Bonterra Resort
We really like this site we have stared at it now for two years , we found the restaurant on site very nice indeed , where are most evenings and never had a bad meal . It's extremely useful having the supermarket just across the road and another just 5 minutes walk away . Some of the pictures are a little on the small side so if you can book for one of the largest pitches . Extremely good cycling from the site . It's a 5 minute walk from the site to the sea front promenade where there is a lovely walk . The staff on site were always very helpful and spoke good English.

Good site but packed in.

Bonterra Resort
This is a good site with views of the hills behind and a good walk/cycle along an old railway line plus I think some walks into the hills. Also you can promenade along the beachfront. The facilities were good, one older shower block, one new. They have a happy hour and there is a restaurant and good Supermacado across the road and Lidl within sight. Also a small indoor pool in winter and a pool in summer. The area of Benicassim is smart, with well tended villas, the beach front seems quite old fashioned, no bars etc. If you want to eat out I suggest going into Benicassim town, which has a nice feel. You can get a train to lovely Valencia but it's 1 1/2 hours each way and packed (masks obligatory). You can walk to the station in 20 minutes. The pitches are very small but highish hedges give a sense of privacy and its sunny in the winter. Nice staff, a good wifi signal a good site overall.

Well organised site

Bonterra Resort
This is a very clean and well run site that we used at the start of our trip to Spain. It’s far bigger than sites we usually stay in but we were pleasantly surprised and if you can get a larger pitch there is plenty of space for an awning and bicycles. Didn’t find good restaurants close by but the site one is friendly and ok if you just don’t want to eat by the van. Lots of plus points - good supermarket almost opposite the site, great beach, very clean shower , washing up and laundry areas and, best of all, good cycle paths. I’m a fairly nervous cyclist and loved the cycle paths along the sea front (Green Wave good for a coffee stop), and the ride to Orpesa across the via Verde where we had lunch on the front.

Dogs welcome but not dog friendly

Bonterra Resort
Easy to find, quick check-in, site clean and overall pleasant. Pitches quite close together. No green space to walk dogs and for them to do their business. Mercadona supermarket right across the road..and beach only a short walk away. Booked a table at the on-site restaurant (with dog), waitressing staff quite scared and uncomfortable with the dog, which in turn made us feel uncomfortable so we only had a drink and left. We have done a whistle stop tour of France and Spain, and this was the only site that we have had to book two nights..don’t think we’ll be staying there again. Alright place..but not for us!!

Second visit-good site

Bonterra Resort
This was our second visit to Bonterra and we weren't disappointed. All the trees have become leafy and therefore more shady than last time. Some of the facilities blocks have been upgraded to a high standard. The beach, the Village and Mercadona still within walking distance make it ideal for motorhomers. Expensive site but still cheaper than CMC.
