There’s direct access to the lake where pedalo rental is available, and a playground and splash pool too. With plenty of walking, jogging and cycling tracks nearby, you can enjoy the best of the local, countryside scenery, or simply relax with a bite to eat at the campsite restaurant that provides stunning lakeside views.
Many guests stay here to explore Lucerne, 18kms away, but other attractions include The Swiss Bird Observatory on Lake Sempach, which has been caring for native bird species in the area since 1924. The more adventurous can experience the thrill of the Pilatus Train leading from Alpnachstad to the top of mount Pilatus, the world’s steepest cog railway of its kind.
