Our UK campsites are in high demand at the moment, so earlier this year we introduced Book Smart, a simple initiative designed to help every Club member get out touring as much as possible.

How to Book Smart

Check in advance

You’re always able to book at least a year ahead, so when you return from a great holiday with us, you’ll be able to book it again for the following year before you’ve even unpacked. 

Amend for FREE 

It won’t cost you anything if you need to amend or cancel your booking, and you’ll open up a space for a fellow member to enjoy rather than let it go empty.

Late availability checker 

We’ve enhanced our Late Availability checker so it’s now even easier to find both midweek and weekend last minute pitches over the next 21 days.

How can you help? 

Put simply, our Book Smart initiative kindly asks that you make considered bookings and only request the pitches you need to help ensure there is availability for other members. We appreciate that plans sometimes have to change, and that’s okay – just let us know as soon as you can. It won’t cost you anything to change your booking, and you’ll open up a space for other members to enjoy.

Sorting the Facts from the Fiction!

We've collected some interesting facts and figures that should help dispel some of the myths about UK site bookings:

 
Rest assured, block bookings are not permitted as our system does not allow anyone to book multiple campsites over the same dates.
 

Demand is high this year and members have made an average of 3 bookings each – that’s around one extra booking per member compared to a normal year.

 

Across all our UK Club campsites, non-members make up just 3% of bookings, and many sites are reserved exclusively for members only.

 

On average, members cancel their stays up to 8 weeks prior to arrival, giving plenty of time for others to take up their unwanted pitches.
