Embracing mountain biking

Popular media would have you believe that you need to be super-fit, highly skilled and youthful in order to enjoy off-road mountain biking. However, you’ll be glad to learn that there’s a nationwide network of mountain bike trails designed for the everyday recreational rider.

All you need is:

  • an off-road bike of some description
  • a helmet
  • gloves
  • the ability to pedal for just a few miles
  • a positive attitude
  • a love of the outdoors
