What is an Affiliated site?
Within the Caravan Club Site network are a range of carefully selected Affiliated Sites. Affiliated Sites allow The Club to provide members with a greater choice of sites, in areas where it does not have its own sites or with facilities not normally provided on Club Sites.
Why become an Affiliated site?
Affiliated Sites are a core part of The Caravan Club network, and benefit from close association with The Club. At the same time, Affiliated sites remain independently owned or managed, and retain responsibility for bookings and pricing (in consultation with Caravan Club regional managers). Affiliated Sites have direct access to The Club, via the Regional Manager, who will be only too pleased to help and advise on operating and developing the site. Affiliated Sites are also featured on the website, in the Sites Directory and Handbook and in the Site Collection brochures. In return, Affiliated Sites pay an annual fee, negotiated as part of a two year agreement based on location, facilities and size.
What we look for in an Affiliated site
Affiliated Sites are expected by members to offer similar standards as Club owned Sites, so we would expect facilities and service to be of a high standard. Sites must offer full facilities including toilet blocks and EHUs, and ideally 60-100 pitches. An attractive location in a popular area for tourism is preferable. Above all, the site must maintain the ethos of the Club, and ensure a members stay on site matches The "Club" experience.
