Each year we ask our members to vote for their favourite holiday spot from 2,500 small, privately-owned informal sites known as Certificated Locations – or CLs for short. They are often found in picturesque, rural settings, on working farms, beside pub gardens, and even in the grounds of stately homes. CLs can accommodate up to five outfits at any one time and are for the exclusive use of Caravan Club members.
One lucky member chosen at random from voters nominating the winning CL will receive £200 and an invitation to the awards ceremony. Overall CL winners and category winners all receive a cash prize, so you'll be supporting your favourite CL in more ways than one.
The closing date for voting for your favourite CL in each category is 31st October 2009. The winners will be announced in March 2010.

2008 CL of the Year winners
2008 winners (PDF opens in a new window - 11kb) were announced at a Parliamentary Reception on Tuesday 31 March 2009. The prestigious Certificated Location of the Year awards were presented at the House of Commons in recognition of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960), which enables The Caravan Club to grant certificates to landowners to operate CLs.
