Road safety charity TyreSafe has launched a new online guide, it has announced.
In news that may well be of interest to car insurance customers and other consumers, the organisation explains that the online visual guide provides users with access to ten animated tyre safety lessons.
Rob Beddis, chairman of the body, states that the new resource - which includes advice on how to deal with issues such as tyre wear and pressure - will help drivers overcome a number of issues which could help to reduce their risk on the roads.
"The digitally animated guide is designed to provide motorists with invaluable advice regarding tyre safety, helping us to achieve our goal of making the UKs roads safer for all," he adds.
In other news, the Institute of Advanced Motorists recently recommended that people try and avoid driving through deep water, given the inclement weather that has affected many parts of the country recently.
