Cracking Easter weekend activity

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is hosting a range of family-orientated activities at Top Lodge in Fineshade Woods during Easter weekend.
Apart from the fun events planned for young and old, everyone will also have the chance to admire the new RSPB centre and wildlife garden.
Kids have the opportunity to paint their own Easter eggs and help with the construction of a huge collage in the shape of an egg.
They will also be able to embark on an adventure in the woods, taking part in a quiz trail in the hope of winning a chocolate treat.
Face-painting, food and drink, and a visit to the nature shop are all on offer on the Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend, the RSPB said.
"Our egg-citement weekend has everything families need to have a wonderful day out together having fun, relaxing and learning lots about wildlife and woodlands," commented RSPB visitor officer Chris Andrews.
Throughout the year, Top Lodge is home to a range of wildlife, including deer and various reptiles.
Fineshade Wood is an ancient woodland of mixed broadleaf and conifer and has a Caravan Club site as well as waymarked walks.
