Caravanning is the most popular paid-for holiday in
the UK, accounting for 17% of all holidays each

provides the perfect way in which to enjoy hobbies and the freedom

Caravanning appeals to a huge range of families throughout the Uk. The Club currently has around 360,000 member households and is responsible for the interests of almost a million individual caravanners.
Families commonly take their caravan away for weekends throughout the year and also for their main family holiday - many families will use The Club's overseas affiliate sites for their annual holiday.

The Caravan Club displays at many exhibitions throughout the year and often invites a number of celebrities along to these events - many of whom are avid caravanners and Club members.
This picture shows Mark Owen at our show in the G-Mex in Manchester. More celebrity pictures can be found throughout the press gallery, particularly in the events sections.

The Club hosts many training courses and events for members and non-members alike. The courses are aimed at promoting general caravan skills and are held in a relaxed, friendly environment.
This picture shows The Club's Head of PR, Nikki Nichol, at one of the courses.

Bunree is one of The Club's most popular Scottish sites and is set in some of the most picturesque countryside the UK has to offer. As a testament to its beautiful setting, Bunree has been the winning venue for several of our recent photography competitions which we run for our members to participate in.

Motor caravanning is a huge part of The Club and appeals to a large volume of our membership. The Club promotes motor caravanning to the same extent as caravanning and offers similar benefits, courses and opportunities to its motor caravanning members.

Modern outfitModern outfit
The shot below shows an example of a modern caravanning outfit. The caravan shown is an Adria Action 361 LH - a small but luxurious caravan that can sleep three and includes all the luxuries of a modern 'van. It is pictured with a Peugot 207 which, even though it is small, is easily capable of towing the Action.
