The Caravan Club provides over 7500 bed nights in one week during the NEC Boat & Caravan Show
Published:
25 February 2010
The Caravan Club is again running the temporary campsite during
the Boat & Caravan Show at the NEC Birmingham (23-28 Feb).
The temporary site includes all the first-rate facilities
associated with a Caravan Club site such as: a freshwater supply;
electric hook up; hardstanding; black and grey water and dry waste
disposal; and an accessible area for badge holders.
And to make a stay at the show even more enjoyable, the
temporary site also boasts a bar and restaurant, free evening
entertainment and a courtesy shuttle service that will operate
between the site at the show itself - this year in the form of
brand-new Land Rover Sport vehicles.
The above superb facilities have been in great demand, bookings
for the site are up by 7%, meaning it was a sell out before the
show even opened.
Len Short, Events Manager for The Caravan Club, says: "We are
pleased, once again, to provide the same fantastic service for our
members at this show. The Caravan Club is Europe's premier touring
organisation and provides members with around 200 Club Sites across
the UK and access to a further 2500 Certificated Locations.
We are proud to be able to provide a further service to caravanners
by 'doing what we do best' here at the NEC."
