The Caravan Club is run by its members, for its members.
Ultimately, The Club is led by the Executive Committee and its
supporting committees. The Executive Committee airs policy issues
with the Club Council, which in turn is supported by the 10
Regional Councils.
The Club Council
The Club Council is The Caravan Club's principal advisory body.
It is comprised of representatives from Regional Councils, members
nominated by the Executive Committee and the Executive Committee
itself.
The Club Council meets three times each year, when it receives
reports from Club staff and debates subjects of topical interest.
It then provides policy advice for the Executive Committee.

Regional Councils
In 1997, ten Regional Councils were created. Their primary aim
is to co-ordinate and enable communications throughout The Caravan
Club membership. Regional Councils provide a forum to discuss Club
issues and to solve local and regional problems.
The Caravan Club is keen to encourage members to attend their
local Regional AGM to share their views on policy issues. The
details of each Region Annual General Meeting are printed in the
August edition of The Club Magazine or you may contact your local
Regional Secretary.
Members' regional interests
- Members can represent their views by:
- Attending the AMM (Please take your Club membership card with
you)
- Attending Regional Council AGMs (Please take your Club
membership card with you)
- Contacting staff at East Grinstead House
- Writing to the Editor of The Club Magazine
- Taking part in membership research surveys if approached
- Registering with a local Centre.
Annual members' meeting
All members including joint members and family members are
welcome to attend, speak and vote at The Caravan Club Annual
members' meeting. The meeting is held in London each October.
Centres
The Caravan Club has 70 Centres throughout the UK and Ireland.
They are run by voluntary committee members elected at Centre AGMs.
Centre officers organise activities throughout the year and provide
a valuable source of support to The Caravan Club's Committees and
Councils. To attend and vote at a Centre AGM, Club members must be
a member of that Centre. Centre membership is free of charge.
