With convenient access from the M25 motorway, Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Sites has a picturesque setting that you and your family will find ideal for a relaxing and peaceful holiday break. The site is surrounded by rolling wooded countryside and situated near the Pilgrims Way, so there are many lovely walking trails - in particular across the North Downs - to explore at your leisure. The site is perfect for dog walkers; you can pick up details about the Downlands Circular Walk from the site entrance. The Fox pub can also be reached by foot and is approximately 40 minutes away. The caravan site offers the best of both worlds - it's proximity to London also makes this site a great base to explore the non-stop activities of the capital.

All pitches are level at Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Site to ensure your maximum comfort and convenience. Golfing enthusiasts will be delighted as there are several golf courses in the immediate area. The caravan site is also an ideal location for exploring much of Sussex, Kent and Surrey and the surrounding coastal areas. Shops and local amenities can be found in nearby Caterham and a local fish and chip van visits the site. For further details on this please ask the site warden.

There's an abundance of attractions and day trips to choose from, options include family theme parks such as Chessington World of Adventures, National Trust properties such as Chartwell, some beautiful gardens including RHS Wisley, and several racecourses. Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking is another nearby attraction that is well worth the visit.

A really pleasant surprise.

5 out of 5

We'd left booking a site for the Bank holiday weekend too late and the only site available was here at Alderstead Heath, with reservations we booked but didnt expect much so close to the M25 and M23 but we were in for a very pleasant surprise. Greeted by friendly welcoming staff we were able to choose our pitch, we chose grass and for us it was the perfect place. Set up beside a group of around 6 trees it felt like a New Forest holiday. Our Granddaughter was with us for one night and she loved the Play area's, she also loved the Explorer Trail and booklet. Very popular with families, she made friends and was soon cycling around having fun. Our 2 dogs weren't left out either with lots of walks, all starting from the site entrance. On friday evenings a van comes round with wood fired pizzas for sale. Daily there are fresh baguettes in the office, ice cream/ lollies were selling like hotcakes, plus a full and interesting information office which also has a good selection of books to swop for 50p or buy for a £1. This site is one that we hope to return to again and again and highly recommend it to others.

First time staying with The Caravan Club

5 out of 5

Thank you for a wonderful Bank Holiday trip!! I have to say I was slightly concerned having read other reviews before arriving. I shouldn't of worried - everyone was helpful from staff to fellow caravanners and we were made most welcome. There was plenty of space and despite being busy and we found it to be peaceful.  The toilet and showering facilities were spotlessly clean during our stay. We will revisit - thank you 😎

As good as the users.

4 out of 5

We stayed for 3 nights, which were spoiled by fellow campers. Despite of the efforts by the staff, the toilets and showers were often found in a filthy state. This was due to a reluctance by others to use a toilet brush or squeegee, or leave rubbish in the bin. The floors were often found flooded and the toilets needing cleaning before use. An Italian told me that he paid, so why should he clean after himself. We were also woken on two occasions by loud conversations late at night. The site is fantastic, but perhaps I am too used to members only sites.
