Burford Caravan Club Site is an attractive and spacious destination, with well landscaped pitching areas, children's play area suitable for all ages and pleasant dog walk. It is conveniently set opposite the beautiful Cotswold Wildlife Park, a popular family attraction in the area with rhinos, zebras and leopards - your children will be enchanted. The Brass Rubbing Centre, superb gardens and narrow gauge railway - all are must see attractions making for a fantastic day out. All the more tempting with the added bonus of discounted tickets being available at the caravan site reception.

Burford itself is a beautiful unspoilt Cotswold village, located conveniently near to the Burford Caravan Club Site. Populated with the warm, honey coloured stone buildings characteristic of the area, this small and sleepy town is a delight for families to discover. The caravan park is also close to the village of Bourton-on-the-Water with its Motor Museum, Model Railway and fine traditional pottery making.

Burford Golf Club is about a 5 minute drive from the site and offers a good challenge whatever your handicap. The Rose and Crown at Shilton just over the crossroads has excellent cask beer and serves top quality food. Bilbury and the wool town of Northleach, with its church and eccentric collection of mechanical music are also conveniently at hand during your stay on this wonderful site.

What a great Site

5 out of 5

Had a wonderful holiday The site was always clean and tidy and the staff always helpful Thank You  Mr and Mrs I Lucas

nice and peaceful at night and i liked to hear the animals from the park next door. limited provisions as no shop or pub nearby but asda couple of miles away. toilet block ok and fitted the purpose. quite a busy site and was amazed at the amount of coming and going of vans - there seemed to be vast amount of turnarounds on a daily basis.

Excellent welcoming and friendly site !!

We use this site due to family living close by. The staff are wonderfull very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble when we ask for help or information !!! We use this site quite regularly and are due to return again very soon !! The site and facilities are of a very high standard which again is a credit to the staff !!

perfect location

5 out of 5

Stayed here for 4 nights the RIAT at Fairford. Managed to take in the GWRailway, Lower Slaughter (where we had our first holiday together) and the Animal Park opposite as well as lunch in Burford itself. All within easy reach. Lovely site, well kept and friendly. Play area for children is excellent (although we spotted the gardener picking up dog mess while we were in there - shame on you dog owner!!!). Tried to prevent our friends who turned up the next day from being too far from our van but sadly for the people in between it was not to be. We did try to keep our 2 4 year olds from running backwards and forwards, so CC .... worth a thought. Was lovely to hear the lions growling in the evenings too. A near perfect site.
