Set on the edge of a 520-acre country park, Pembrey Country Park Caravan Club Site has all the luxuries you could ever wish for. The space allows a range of outdoor sporting activities to participate in with the use of the seven-mile stretch of safe, sandy beach only a mile away. You could spend your entire holiday happily occupied within the caravan park itself and for families this may be the perfect site to spend your holidays at.

For the parents, Pembrey Country Park Caravan Club Site's main selling point is the superb Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course just 4 miles away. Older children have the use of an equestrian centre with riding on the caravan site as well as a super dry-ski slope and toboggan ride. For the little ones, the miniature railway is noteworthy, and there's also an adventure playground to keep them busy. Located in picturesque Pembrey, Llanelli, this part of Wales retains the splendour that makes it a favourite amongst caravan owners of all ages. Even getting to the beach is a pleasure with access available for cycles. Bird and butterfly watchers will find the area a delight, and there are a whole series of guided walks. There are many restaurants in the seaside town of Burry Port just two miles from site, offering a variety of places to eat.

Excellent weeks stay - one of the best sites weve been to

5 out of 5

Just back from a 7 night stay here and it is one of the best sites we've been to and certainly the best CC site. The wardens were extremely helpful and friendly on arrival and always waved throughout the stay. There werent many pitches available when we arrived but there was loads of room in between pitches - def one of the largest pitches weve had.  The site was very peaceful and quiet and even when busiest at the weekends, had a very pleasant ambience. Toilets etc always spotless and only had to wait once during the cleaning time and only for a couple of minutes so no problem. Pembrey Park is fantastic for walking and our dogs loved it. I went horse riding in the park during the stay, which was also lovely. Only downside to the Country park is the people who leave their rubbish, particularly on the beach, but not at all a reflection on the Club site. You need to watch the entrance fee to the Park as sometimes its free but other times they charge - sometimes £2 and sometimes £5 - and doesnt seem to be any logic or system as to when and why but again not a Caravan Club issue. Would definitely come here again :0)
