Penzance Certificated Locations

The historic port of Penzance in south-west Cornwall is a popular destination for tourists, and with good reason. Its unusually warm climate means palm trees thrive here, and there are areas full of subtropical plants, such as the Victorian-era Morrab Gardens, found close to the seafront.

Beach lovers will be at home on the Long Rock Beach, a stretch of sand and pebbles that is popular among locals thanks to its close proximity to the town, while the Penlee House Museum and the Exchange Gallery offer an insight into Cornwall's art and other artefacts.

The Jubilee lido swimming pool is the perfect place to take a dip in style, as the art deco pool looks out over Mount’s Bay from Cornwall's only promenade.

A trip to Cornwall would not be complete without a sampling some traditional fish and chips overlooking the bay and there are plenty of places to choose from, including the Captain Fish Bar on Daniel Place.
