Wonderful CL and Owners

Sunnyside
What can I say the best CL we’ve been on. Friendly welcome from Royston n Ziggy the toilet n shower are immaculate and spotless. everything about this site was immaculate. It’s like caravaning in your garden. My husband broke his hip in the middle of our holiday and was in hospital for 2 weeks Royston n Sue were wonderful making sure I was OK and befriending me. They were above and beyond with their thoughtfulness and kindness I can’t thank them enough. I used the park n ride which was 4 miles away to get into Truro as the traffic is horrendous fantastic service £2.20 for day ticket.

Excellent CL

Sunnyside
This is an extreemly attractive CL, well maintained with spotless toilet; shower and dishwashing facility. The pitches have EHU, there are water and waste point and chemical disposal all well placed. The pitches are a generous size and slightly sloping, levelling blocks are needed, and as we had not taken ours the owner, Royston, sorted some out for us to borrow. The approach off the A39 is well signposted and has a dedicated lane for turning right. We saw very light traffic on the approach lane and the site has double entry gates at the entrance giving easy entrance/exit. We were warmly greeted by Royston and Sue and they made us most welcome during our 10 days. We did once walk along the lane and it was quiet enough to enjoy stretching our legs and spotting the birds. There are presently (July 2023) major roadworks nearby on the A30 but we didn't hear much at all, and only light background traffic noise from A39, which stopped in the evenings. One of the best we have stayed on.

Little Gem

Sunnyside
Could not ask for nicer hosts, Royston and Sue, who gave us a very warm welcome. The site was clean, tidy and very well kept, on site facilities were in excellent order and spotlessly clean. The site is also quite central to Cornwall's visitor attractions and situated just off the A30. You could just hear in the background some traffic noise but nothing untoward and certainly didn't detract from what was essentially a very peaceful stay. We would definitely stay on this site again and without hesitation recommend it to others.

Immaculate Site

Sunnyside
A lovely site, we were met at the gate by our hosts and Ziggy the dog, and said a brief hello to Ralph the cat. We had a 14 night stay, The site itself is clean and tidy. The shower and toilets were immaculate. There is a little road noise but you get used to it. Would recommend this site to anybody .

Recent Stay

Sunnyside
Where do you start Royston met us at the gate and let us in.The site is spotlessly clean , toilet and Shower where spotless. Site is compact and is kept very tidy. Leveling blocks are required on some pitches dogs welcome but no dog walks nearby. Unfortunately the road noise from the A39 can be heard at Peak times mainly due to a lot more road users avoiding road works just up the road on the new A30 bypass. Would i stay over again certainly
