Great site for visiting Durdle Door

Little Birch Caravan Park
I stayed 1 night and it is a very good site for visiting Durdle Door. I recommend cycling to here, the route is 5 miles with a few hills, very slightly uphill and you have to cross one busy road. However parking for larger vehicles such as motor homes or camper vans is £20 parking regardless of time and the route back is downhill. The site has a clean toilet and shower with quirky door handles which worked very well. The site is large especially towards the back and is lovely in the shade in the summer. I hope to return soon. Rated 4 stars as this is next to a fairly busy road so I didn't cycle other than Durdle Door.

Great location. Busy Site. Noisy Road

Little Birch Caravan Park
Like other members, we were warmly welcomed by the owner Jan and her family. The site is in a fantastic location in order to get to most places of interest within 30-40 minutes (by car). It is easy to get to as it is on a main road. However, this did mean that the road noise was loud at peak times. The grounds are well kept and are a mixture of hard standing and grass. This is a very busy site with over 10 pitches in use during our stay. This did mean that it was often difficult to make use of the showers and toilet but we tried to time our visits!! If you want peace and tranquility this is not the site for you. However, if you want convenient access to all that Dorset has to offer (which is a huge amount), a warm welcome and a busy site - we can thoroughly recommend Little Birch.

Super Site

Little Birch Caravan Park
What a lovely little site this is! We arrived and were greeted by Jan who showed us to our pitch , very large in comparision to a lot of sites, and also showed all the first class facilities. Very quiet site, spotlessly clean and total peace and relaxation is guaranteed. The site is within easy reach of all the local attractions of Wareham, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Swanage, and Weymouth, and having the fantastic bus service stop outside of the site was a bonus. We will definitely be back here when we next visit Dorset - thank to Jan , Laura and Eric for making our stay so pleasant.

Best Site In Dorset

Little Birch Caravan Park
We stayed on this CL for 12 days in June 2021, Eric & Jan are the most friendly couple we have met. They keep the site and amenities spotless, (Eric is for ever cutting the grass, we think he loves his mower). The surrounding area needs no introduction and everywhere is easy to reach. We are not ones for eating out so did not try the local pubs but, from speaking to others campers we understand they are worth a visit. We really enjoyed our stay, even stayed and extra day as day we were meant to move it poured all day. The proof of our enjoyed stay is our already booked stay for next June and we are looking forward to it very much. Thank you Eric & Jan see you in 2022.

A Beautiful Dorset Gem

Little Birch Caravan Park
Just arrived back home after spending 14 glorious days at 'Little Birch'. This is a fantastic CL site with everything you need. Showers, toilets and washing up facilities all very clean and tidy. We'll keep grass and pitches both hard and grass standing. We had the most wonderful grass pitch that gave us the view of the whole site. The sites owners Jan & Eric were great hosts, even spending time to chat and have little glass of wine. What more could you ask. They were both very knowledgable of the area and gave us some great tips. This is what touring is all about. With many sites about, some are hit or miss. This is a massive hit and a credit to the Club. Jan & Eric thank you for your hospitality we will be back. (John & Louise)
