So peaceful

Dairy House Farm
We recently returned to Dairy House Farm having moved out of the area. A really friendly welcome from Alan and Bridget, followed by three peaceful nights with some friends. Close to Manningtree and Mistley which have pubs, tea rooms, a wine bar and the obligatory ice cream van along the wall. Excellent cricket club nearby where I have many happy memories. The bird life was in abundance and, sure enough, the barn own made his (her?) appearance as dusk fell. Lovely to be back.

Lovely stay at Dairy House Farm

Dairy House Farm
We recently returned from a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Dairy House Farm. Alan welcomed us and was tremendously helpful in guiding us to a pitch bearing in mind the recent very heavy rainfall. The farm is a working farm, but we were not disturbed at any time with moving farm machinery, We were sited near to a drinking water tap and the chemical toilet facility was easily accessible. We were able to visit many interesting places and enjoyed some lovely walks, Flatford Mill, Dedham, the Stour Valley and The Naze to name a few, which is always great when you have a dog. A very nice CL and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Private, relaxed and peaceful.

Dairy House Farm
We stayed for 3 nights at Dairy House Farm with our motorhome. Our host Bridgett was very helpful and friendly, offering us a hardstanding pitch for our heavy van due to unseasonal rainfall. At the time she was also able to offer accommodation for my brother and his wife for a night at short notice. The CL is very well maintained with electric hook ups for all and plenty of fresh water pipes too. We would not hesitate to return here.

Lovely stay

Dairy House Farm
This is a lovely CL set in beautiful countryside well away from any traffic. Plenty of room for each pitch and gets the sun all day in the spring/summer. Didn't see the owners but went to the house to pay and they seemed friendly enough. Other people on the site said they just left everyone to get on with it themselves but were lovely people and not obtrusive unless you needed help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

A Heavenly Spot

Dairy House Farm
The approach to this site is down a long private lane through the wheat fields so it turned out to be the ultimate in peace and quiet. The site is beautifully kept although the toilet facilities, which are obviously provided for the farm workers, are a bit basic. It was a joy to walk the dog as there is no traffic close to the site and the views are amazing. The village shop is very friendly and has all the necessaries and we had a great meal in The Village Maid where we were able to use the free wifi. This site is a perfect stop for the ferries at Harwich and Mr Whitworth is charming and helpful without being obtrusive.
