Why stay here ...

The CL is situated on a level two acre field sheltered from the prevailing wind, with a view to the hills. There are 5 double 16 amp electric hook-ups, meaning you never have to be close to another van! It is a quiet location, 1/3 from the nearest minor road, free from noise apart from all the wildlife. Immediate access onto a byway for dog walking.

The site is lawned with two hard standing pitches. Picnic tables are out during the summer for you to use. There is a growing willow folly in the middle of the field, which adds privacy from one side of the field to the other.

We have several areas around the outside of the field which add colour and interest to the field at different times of the year, starting in the spring with forsythia, then the honeysuckle and various flowering shrubs in the summer. Ideally, situated as an overnight stop for the Channel Tunnel and Dover ferries. No light pollution allows fantastic "sky at night" sights. The low horizon gives incredible sunsets and for the early birds, sunrises.

There are recycling and general waste bins and small buckets for you to separate out your food waste. Chemical waste point.

Love this site

Lords Farm
Stayed twice in the last week or so. I love this site for its secluded location and lovely views. It’s a spacious field with (normally) a free choice of pitches. There are no unnecessary rules and owner Peter is a gent.

Beautiful site and friendly welcome

Lords Farm
This is a wonderful peaceful site with lots of space between the plots. The site is dog friendly with some great, safe walks into Ruckinge. Can’t thank Peter enough for allowing us to stay. We had a great time and will defiantly come back again.

Lovely Peaceful Relaxing CL site

Lords Farm
My wife and I have been coming to Lords Farm for over 15 years with various motorhomes that we have owned over that period.Peter is very helpful nothing is too much trouble he also has good local knowledge of the area and is keen to guide you in the right direction. The site is large enough with well maintained level facilities and it also has great walks to exercise our two dogs and its also good for cycling, nice small quiet roads to explore the local area. The birdwatching is also good, last week we spotted many green woodpeckers, yellowhammers, wagtails, chaffinches plus various birds of prey, kestral, buzzards, marsh harrier, little owl and we heard a tawny owl during the night The site also has two hardstanding areas which is also useful particularly given the amount of rain we have had recently.

Large peaceful site

Lords Farm
We had a wonderful second stay at Lords Farm. It is easily accessible, very quiet and peaceful. Caravans are far apart. The owner provides everything needed for recycling, general and food waste. We loved cycling along the lanes, visiting the coast and nearby villages and towns.
