Love, Love Love

The Grange CL
Fantastic CL, Hard Standing Serviced Pitch was better than most large sites offering the same facility. Pat and Steve have certainly given this small site lots of thought as they cater for all needs including disabled facilities. The Shower rooms are the largest I have come across anywhere and a valuable option. The wildlife area is a tranquil and very interesting area which allows you sit and take stock of life surrounded by Hares, Rabbits, Deer and numerous Moths and Butterflies, depending on the season. The fishing lake is also very well located. If interested in nature Steve is very knowledgeable and willing to chat about it. This was the most relaxing stay we have had anywhere. I just wish is was nearer to home so we could visit more often, a long drive from hilly Devon to this large flatland. Steve and Pat, you could certainly teach other people on how to set up a wonderful CL, thank you very much. Don and Chris Fraser June 2002

Lovely site and perfect host

The Grange CL
We stayed here in September and it was everything we hoped for. Well kept and quiet. Steve was very welcoming and works very hard keeping the site nice. As CL owners ourselves we understand the hard work involved in keeping the site so neat and 'tidy' for visitors. The adjoining lake and nature area was good to wander round and appreciate. We did not use the toilet and shower facilities but have no doubt they would have been immaculate if they were anything like the rest of the CL. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

The Grange CL, nr Diss....Fine site.

The Grange CL
The CL is easily access off the B1134, and has 2 HS pitches as well as a large grass paddock with multiple EHU points so plenty of choice for siting ones unit. There are hedges all around the site which do offer some protection from the wind but restrict any view of the surrounding countryside. The large nature reserve is very well set out and grand for a walk with one's dog, as there are no footpaths/pavements directly outside of the site. We have not noticed any excessive road noise, but perhaps that's because we are not here in the harvesting season. For those that need provisions there's a new Lidl and a Waitrose at Wymondham, where there is also an interesting Abbey. The owners are very friendly and helpful and I can recommend this site to anyone who wants to stay in this area.

Delightful Site with Pleasant Hosts visited 5 Nights in July 2019

The Grange CL
This site is very well kept by the owners, it offers large pitches with a choice of how to position your unit to allow sunshine or shade under the tall well maintained hedges. The toilets and showers are 1st class and are an optional extra for which a small fee is paid if you choose to use them. The fishing lake is laid out well with nature and conservation in mind. Yes there is some traffic noise in the afternoon when people are commuting and it should be expected that during harvest the modern farm machinery can create noise and they will work well into the night. This has to be accepted and with windows shut it is minimal. overall we loved it. We were exploring my fathers birthplace in a nearby village and cycling around was easy once we were off the B Road, Nearby Long Stratton offers a half hour bus service into Norwich and there are plenty of free parking places in the village. We had 2 massive thunderstorms during the night with torrential rain but the grass showed no sign of water by the morning the pitches are all very flat and firm. There are 2 hard standing pitches available in bad weather but these are a bit nearer the road. Norfolk villages still offer a link to rural England from past years and are all worth exploring, this site offers an ideal location to base yourself for this. Lowestoft and the east coast are within a 30 mile drive.
