Out of the way

Epwell Grounds Farm
2nd July. Stayed 4 nights Fairly straightforward to find though the last few miles were narrow bumpy roads. Spacious grass site. Level. Only one tap. The grass was fairly long. ( The owner thought the clover was too lovely to mow) There is a coded gate so it felt fairly secure. Sporadic contact with the owner. Would visit again if in the area.

Just spent a lovely few days at Epwell Grounds. Access is easy via a coded electric gate then via gravel drive to site. Plenty of room for 5 vans. You can walk directly from the site to Shennington which has a lovely pub The Bell or walk a little further to the Monkebean Cafe. The owner popped over to have a chat with us to check we where ok. Nice touch. Would go back.

Peacefully quiet and tranquil

Epwell Grounds Farm
A lovely peaceful and tranquil site. No road noise even during the day and lovely and dark at night. Easy access down electric gated driveway which leads only to the caravan field. Short drive to wonderful villages and only 15 mins from Banbury itself.

Still a bargain - can't fault it really...

Epwell Grounds Farm
Can't believe there's been no reviews since my last one two years ago? Can't fault the site really - grass was cut and with hook-up, still a bargain at £12. Louise was very nice to us, and chatty. This time we made two new discoveries. One was the village of Tysoe which has a well stocked shop and café with delicious cakes - all owned by Mrs Dalla-Mura! We also discovered the Chandlers Arms in nearby Epwell. Very welcoming landlady. We went there with caravanning friends on burger night - where a variety of home-made burgers were on offer with chips. Very enjoyable, and lovely pub.

Includes electric hook-up, and Muntjac deer!

Epwell Grounds Farm
Since we stayed a year ago, the owner has put in a new access road, which is very welcome! There is now an electronic gate with coded key-pad - which is a couple of metres forward of the gate, and from the road, hidden by nettles(!). Grass was short enough, and the site fee is very reasonable. A pleasant enough site with walks to nearby villages. Even saw a Muntjac deer passing by the site - the strangest creature I've even seen in the British countryside...
