Why stay here ...

Greenacres is a newly opened CL site in a tranquil rural site nestled in the lovely village of Birkhill, 2 miles from Dundee City Centre and 2 miles off the A90. It boasts open aspects over the Sidlaw Hills and neighbouring Stables. It is ideal for walking or cycling. The 3/4 acre site is fairly flat and is in a very sunny spot with beautiful sunsets. We have 5 hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups, their own water and drainage and 2 grass pitches if you prefer. Green waste only please. We will always have a supply here for you if required.

Within walking distance there is a farm shop selling local produce and a pub with great food. If you fancy trying some sports there is clay pigeon shooting, fishing, quad biking, golf and tank driving all on our door step.

Kids can access local facilities such as Camperdown Country Park and Wildlife Centre. Pipedream Leisure Complex (2 miles) hosts a gym, pool, playbarn and many other exciting activities.

The local bus runs 1/2 hourly during the day into Dundee where you can visit the fabulous newly opened V & A museum, HMS Discovery and Sensations Centre. There are many great places to eat and a visit to Broughty Ferry or the historic town of St Andrews (home of golf) is a must.

Why not come and see us and visit the flourishing city of Dundee on route to the great NC 500.

Greenacres
We were due to stay at Greenacres for 3 nights as it is only a few miles from our daughter, however we needed to extend our stay as our daughter announced her wedding to coincide with our visit. A quick phone call and all was sorted by Fraser. When we arrived we were met by Lorraine who gave us a lovely welcome. The site was well kept and the views stunning (my wife captured the Northern Lights over the distant hills). There is a shop and restaurant in Birkhill and Dundee is only a few miles away. There is also a chip van that calls at the Community Hall in Birkhill once a week and it is worth a visit. Dundee has lots of shops. Plenty of fast food and restaurants and a good selection of pubs. The V & A is worth a visit as is the Discovery ship. Greenacres is a well kept site with hard standing and grass pitched. There is electric, water and waste water disposal on each pitch. Elsan point and bins also on site. All in all a great CL which we will return to

A perfect, tranquil spot.

Greenacres
We received a warm and helpful welcome from Fraser and Lorraine. The serviced pitches are well maintained and in a fabulous location. The field behind and around have ponies, donkeys and horses who are happy to be fed a carrot or an apple. We were able to visit St Andrews, Dundee and Glamis Castle from here which gives an idea of how well located this site is. Brought Ferry is also well worth a visit. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely site & owners

Greenacres
Greenacres is such a lovely site. Welcoming owners and so much space! Fraser and Lorraine make sure you have all you need and are knowledgeable of the local area. Second time here and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Thank you both.

A gem of a site….

Greenacres
This is a lovely CL. Very peaceful and spacious. Owners very friendly and easy going. 10 minute walk to the bus stop to take you into Dundee. Slightly longer walk to get to the nearest pub for a good bite to eat. Definitely one to put on the list, either for a stopover or for a longer stay.
