Why stay here ...

We now accept dogs.

And relax... Sea, sand, mountains and well earned peace and quiet. Sounds perfect right? Our unique formula is 100% child-proof so you might enjoy the sound of a woodpecker, a clicking bat, or a cow sneezing (they do… honestly!).

Walking? We're 5 - 10 minutes walk from the sea, Halen Mon, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Park, and the best free seafood you could ever wish for!

So If that sounds idyllic then we’d love to welcome you to our little oasis.

A 'boutique' site with only 3 fully serviced and generous hard standings (16 amp EHU and drinking water inclusive), waste water disposal and toilet.

Situated by a stream, under willow trees on the Anglesey coastal path, we're around 3 miles from Newborough, the walks through the forest to the beach provide wonderful views of Llyn Peninsula and only 20 minutes from Snowdonia (or you can just admire the views without moving a muscle).

In the village there is a pub, shop, post office and various eating establishments.

Excellent Small Site

Giddyaunts
I have just returned from a short stay at Giddyaunts - a really lovely little (3 pitch) CL - you couldn't ask for better (and I've stayed at lots of CLs)! I received a really friendly, warm welcome from Dave, which really does make all the difference to a stay - nothing would have been too much trouble for him. The pitches are hard standing (for the vehicle, but grass all around), serviced, of a good size, partly screened from one another, and immaculately maintained, and each has a picnic table/benches and umbrella on the grass alongside. Access is fairly easy though I chose to come along the Menai Strait route (first sign for Foel /Anglesey Sea Zoo off the A4080 from the direction of the Bridge - a rural road with passing places), rather than through Brynsiencyn, which can get rather congested. The whole area is very rural, but within easy access of Newborough Forest and the beach, and there is an easy walk down the lane from the CL to the Strait, or to the Chocolate Shop! I stopped off at Plas Newydd (National Trust) (A4080) en route to the site, and this has some lovely walks suitable for dogs. So, a lovely CL with a warm welcome and immaculately maintained, and a CL to which I shall return. Enjoy!

One of the best

Giddyaunts
Without doubt one of the best CL sites we have had the pleasure to visit. Three large serviced pitches, a well appointed toilet block and a tranquil location. Dave was a fantastic and accommodating host. If and when we return to Anglesey, Giddyaunts will be the first place we look to book.

Stunning location

Giddyaunts
It’s like being in a peaceful , tranquil back garden of your house . We are 8.6 Mtrs and the pitches are a lovely size , with everything you need . The owner is full of knowledge and very pleasant. Only 3 pitches so quiet . Lovely cycle ride Menai beach , with electric bikes about 10 miles mainly on small roads . 5-10 min walk to the beach , where is a nice cafe with lovely staff . One of the prettiest cl sites we have been to in the time we have been with the club . No shops nearby , so if it’s just peace and quiet you want to unwind this is the place for you .

April getaway

Giddyaunts
Dave the new owner was very friendly and welcoming. Spacious pitches very tidy and well mowed with good sitting out area and own picnic bench. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to places of interest and short walk down the lane to Menai Straits with fantastic views of Snowdonia . Would recommend a stay at this hidden gem. Thank you Dave from the Smallwoods.

Little slice of paradise

Giddyaunts
We arrived here quite easily after checking directions with Brian and Dawn. What lovely welcoming people they are. The site is just lovely. Small but perfectly formed. 3 pitches hard standing each with own garden area and picnic bench. The gardens are beautifully tended and was a real pleasure to sit in when the sun did shine. We found it a perfect spot for exploring the island and we did north south east and west, there is so much to see. It was always a pleasure to return after a day out to a lovely quiet peaceful spot. We thoroughly enjoyed it and won't hesitate to come again the next time we visit the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Thankyou. You have a beautiful CL 😊
