Thank you for rescuing us!!

Gerddiduon Farm
Due to circumstances beyond anyones control, the site we had booked wasn't able to be accessed on the afternoon we arrived, and we contacted the lovely owners here who allowed us to stay for a night on their yard, hook up to electric and water and basically rescued us from a cold night in a layby!! Normally you'd pitch up on the hill with the lovely views, so I have based my review on what we saw of the lovely site and scenery, but mainly on the helpfulness and kindness of the owners. Thank you so much! xx

Ease of arrival/welcome

My visit to Gerddiduon Farm.

Gerddiduon Farm
I arrived in my motorhome  to be greeted by the lady of the house Adele, a wonderful warm welcome swiftly followed by Adeles assistance guiding me through the secure electric gates, through the farm and up on to my home for a couple of days. As a lone traveller this kind of welcome and assistance is so very much appreciated and instantly makes you feel comfortable and welcome, after a good chat about the local area and the facilities on site; Recycling area, Drinking water, Drive over Grey waste, Chemical toilet emptying point, Adele then apologised for not having cut the grass before my arrival due to a machinery failure (it didn’t need it, the site was already very tidy) I was left to settle in and settle in I did, very easily. The site is on a hill with a view of  Moel Famau and the beautiful countryside and villages surrounding it. Perfectly placed for walking and cycling. It was a joy to stay on a site surrounded by wildlife and nature, blissfully peaceful. On departure Adele came to ask my opinion of my stay and if anything could be improved, (how lovely!) apart from me booking for longer next time, nothing could better my stay, Many thanks Adele and Paul, I will be back!
