CL to be recommended

Rhos-yr-Unman
Just stayed at this lovely CL for 9 nights. This CL provides everything we need and like for a extended stay. Mr Roberts greeted us well and gave us clear information about the site. He was also readily available if required. Plenty of space between pitches with 10A hook up. Plenty of drinking water taps all around the site. Toilet room is kept clean and is well equipped. Shower room is also available but I didn't use it so cannot comment. Chemical toilet disposal facility is well located and made for the purpose. No cistern for flushing, and sadly not all other users flushed the toilet pan using the provided hose after disposing of their waste. Nice views, no noticeable traffic noise, easily accessible from A487, but appropriate care needed when turning into the drive, and when departing. We have a Transporter van with 7.5mt (overall length) caravan and had no issues. Centrally located for exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey, LLyn Peninsula. We are looking forward to using this CL again in the near future.

Peaceful site with wonderful views

Rhos-yr-Unman
Enjoyed a week at this site. The grass is cut and collected. The pitches are on slopes, so levelling blocks needed. The site was very peaceful and the location was great to access Snowdonia and Anglesey. It is nice to have toilet and shower facilities provided on a CL. We would come back to this lovely site.

A fantastic CL site

Rhos-yr-Unman
Spent 3 nights on this well run CL site. The grass was being cut as we arrived. Grassing cuttings all collected. We choose this site for the cycle paths close by. Cycled to Caernarfon on the first day. Second day cycled to Criccieth. Traffic free or quiet lanes all the way. Lots of walks from the site. Mr Roberts made us feel very welcome. We will be back. If only to re-acquaint with his wonderful chickens!

Lovely site

Rhos-yr-Unman
This is a clean, well organised site. Very peaceful. The site does slope a bit but it's not a problem neither is the approach. Mr Roberts is very attentive and helpful, visiting his guests each day. Our grandson loved the hens (as we did) roaming around the field. There are some great beaches close by and the castle in Caernarfon is well worth a visit. We were only able to spend a couple of nights on this occasion but we will be back.

A nice place

Rhos-yr-Unman
Easy to find and no narrow roads care needed at entrance as gate is a bit narrow , the top of the field is nearly level and grass is cut and collected 4 of the pitches have their own tap which is a bonus the shower is a pound for 8 minutes I found eco setting most reliable temperature good roads for visiting area but found Caernarfon disappointing very run down and dirty there is a good cycle track very near the site. I recommend this site as a base for touring this area
