Amazing site

Just had three wonderful nights at this site. Paul was there to meet us and show us around this beautiful site. It has everything you could possibly need. We had a problem with our electric cable whilst there and Paul did everything he could to help us. No wonder they keep winning awards! Cannot wait to return.

A superb site

We have just returned from this site after an eight night stay and we'll certainly be back! Paul and his wife Heide have worked hard to ensure the site at Brunette Cottage is presented and maintained to an extremely high standard. The pitches are well-spaced, the bathroom facilities pristine and the outlook (fields) interesting. I say that with mirth as watching the calves frolic and the amorous bull sidling up to his next 'girlfriend' certainly put a smile on our faces. Heide's homemade cakes were wonderful and a great addition to our many picnics in the area. Let's hope we can make a return visit before the end of the year. There are still many more places of interest we didn't manage to get to.

Wonderful Site

We stayed for two nights at Brunette Cottage. Not being used to either the new car or the caravan we had a few disasters. Paul and Helen were so much help we can't thank them enough. The site is really well maintained. The toilet and shower room are excellent and the fresh eggs and homemade cakes really good. There are videos and books you can borrow as well as menus etc for the local chip shop and restaurants. Can't rate the site highly enough and would recommend to everone

Premier League

Our first visit was mid February. Such an excellent site we rebooked whilst there for another visit. Paul and Helen made us extremely welcome and rightly, they are proud of their site. Shower and loo always immaculate and an informative information ‘summer house’. PS recommend the marmalade. Individual bird feeding stations a lovely added touch. You will not be disappointed.

A 5* Site !!!

We have just returned from a lovely 5 night stay on this beautifully kept cl. We had a warm welcome from Paul the owner on arrival. His dedication to this site is a credit to the the cl network. Set in the countryside this hid gem of site is an immaculately kept site with all hard standings each with own water tap and bird feeder. The views over the countryside are lovely and we had a few beautiful sunsets. There is a summer house with local information, and items you may need if forgotten e.g. water pipe etc. There is also a toilet and shower room which also is immaculately kept. We visited Llangolen, a lovely Welsh town with pubs, tea rooms, various shops and a railway station. Also, within easy drive we visited Horse Shoe Pass with stunning views, Horse Shoe Falls, with a walk along the canal. Pontcysllte Aquaduct is a must, the highest navigable Aquaduct in the world. Also Chirk with its castle and Aquaduct is within easy driving distance. An hours drive took us to Llandudno and the drive up the Great Orme is spectacular. Our scottie dog enjoyed the well kept dog walk on site and dogs are welcomed onto this cl. It is an adult only cl. We would have no hesitation in recommending this site and I do hope that the award of cl of the region (held in 2015 and 2016) is awarded in 2017 to Paul and Helen.

Fabulous site

Beautiful site, very well maintained, own water supply. Spacious pitches all hardstanding, shower and toilet facilities, summerhouse with all information on surrounding area plus eggs and cakes for sale. We can see why it has won all those awards. We have just had nine days on this site and will definitely be back. Thankyou Paul for a great holiday.

Fantastic!

This site is as many of the other reviewers say - a truly wonderful site. Paul was really welcoming and showed us round the immaculately kept site. The dog walk was very welcome on site as whilst there was a great walk in fields nearby it did necessitate a short road walk to get there. We had the perfect pitch for dog owners which was in the corner next to the dog walk. The hard standing pitches were perfect and easy to peg into. The pitches were spaced a good distance apart with a grassy area between. Lovely bathroom and shower kept immaculately clean and bird tables at each pitch was a great touch. I can't think of anything that would improve this site except maybe a picnic table on the grassy area outside each pitch. Thanks for a great stay. If we are passing through this area again we will definitely be back!

PERFECTION!!

Only stayed one night but will most certainly return for longer. Stress free booking, easily located by Sat Nav, warm and friendly welcome, excellent, private bathroom with shower, tranquil setting with a lovely view over fields. An honesty box is provided for the purchase of homemade preserves, eggs or delicious homemade cakes. If you have a problem there is a variety of equipment available to help you out. It's difficult to know how one could improve the site. It is perfection created with hard work and loving care by the owners.
