Great site

Great site. Lovely large pitch with great views and a very warm welcome from Elen. Bathrooms are basic but kept really clean. There are only 5 hard standing pitches so it’s a really peaceful place to stay. Great location for exploring the island. Elen was great at offering suggestions of things to see. We had a week of more or less dry weather in Anglesey when the mainland looked to be under a permanent rain cloud. A bonus of being on an island I guess! We did lots of walks and would definitely suggest parking at Malltraeth and doing a circular walk (there are many trails to choose from) through the Newborough forest and along the beautiful beach.

Peace and beauty

A new site, beautifully laid out with a good space between pitches. Each pitch had water, electricity and soak away for waste water. Away from traffic noise it was very quiet with views from the site. The availability of showers and toilets was a bonus.Very clean! The site it very central to the island, so not too far from any tourist spots. A good pub five minutes away by car ( The Ring ) and access to the Wales coastal path fifteen minutes away. Lovely beaches, the Transport museum and the copper trail ( lovely views) all nearby. A visitor pack provided by Elen was also useful. Well worth a visit.

🌟 The best CL 🌟Nefoedd

Cae’r Bugail is a fantastic peaceful CL site, open all year. Pitches are a good size with water & drainage which is a plus. Elen & Arwyn are such lovely hosts full of local information & knowledge of walks & eating out. The walk from the site up the hill past the little lake is a must where you will see for miles around Anglesey. We will definitely be going back😉 Gwych Elen ac Arwyn😉

Fantastic little site

Arrived at Cae bugail just as it started raining but got a really warm welcome from Elen .We were directed to the pitches and picked the one we wanted for are 9 night stay. Arwyn came down in the rain to show us how the electric hook up worked and asked if we needed any help with the awning but we declined as it was raining so hard but a great gesture. The pitches are a nice size with water , electric and waste drainage . The showers and toilets are very clean as is the chemical waste area. All the pitches have nice views over the country side . Arwyn stopped cutting the grass and had a beer and a chat telling us of places to visit and eat he is a really nice guy nothing seems to much trouble . If your visiting Anglesey this is definitely a site to try

A little slice of Heaven in Anglesey

What a lovely place this is! Plenty of space between pitches, spotless facilities, stunning views, lovely warm welcome from Elen….. Just the ticket to get away from it all but still within a short drive of all that this stunning island has to offer. Our first visit to Anglesey and to this site - won’t be the last for either! Highly recommended.

Excellent Site

We have just returned from 5 nights on this site having been lucky enough to secure a late booking. The generous sized pitches are well set up with the services and easily accommodated our car, caravan and awning with plenty of space between the pitches and around the van; the site was quiet with open views. We used our on board toilet and shower but the site toilet block looked well set up and clean and the rubbish and chemical waste disposal was nicely screened and thoughtfully laid out (although all were approx 80m or so away from the pitches). Elen was very welcoming and provided a useful local information pack and suggestions of where we could walk within the farm and along footpaths; they are planning to develop further features to the site. Take care leaving the site as some traffic travels quite quickly along the road, we just took our time to double check the ‘blind spots’ and had no problems. We felt well placed to visit all parts of the island and, with the serviced pitches on offer, will definitely be returning to this site.

This site is great, well groomed, quiet and perfect size. We do prefer the smaller sites as a family.

Cae Bugail. Caravan & Motorhome Club certificated location · Llanerchymedd, Isle of Anglesey, Wales, LL71 8DF, This site is great, well groomed, quiet and perfect size. We do prefer the smaller sites as a family. Elen and Arwyn (owners) are lovely and friendly. Such a warm welcome when we arrived and also when we were leaving. Cae Bugail is a picturesque location situated on a working family farm. Being on the Isle of Anglesey, the site is very close to a number of beautiful spots such as Church Bay, Holyhead, Trearddur Bay which is perfect for paddle boarding. There are loads of other beauty spots to explore but we didn’t have enough time. Oh well… an excuse to come back. More about the site…. Family/dog friendly with on site shower and toilet facilities. The ladies is single use which was actually really nice, being able to have the toilet, shower and sink to yourself was a bonus. Obviously you are conscious of other female campers but as the site is small it wasn’t an issue. The men’s facilities did have more toilets but only one shower and again, hubby said it was good, no issues with campers waiting. The pitches are a really generous size for our T6, Galli III awning and still loads of room all the way around. EHU point at the back of the pitch so you don’t have to trail your core 15m before reaching the van. Cold water on your pitch was another bonus so it far to go at all. Mobile reception was great include 4G connection too which is always a bonus for the kids and projector movie nights. There is a lovely lake close to the site, less than 5 min walk which is home to roach and chubb, we had a lovely walk through the sheep field for our evening stroll. The lake is free to use for on site members. There is a chemical waste for your portaloo, grey water and bin area with recycling. All clean and tidy with no issue of flies. Close to local shops (5 mins drive), local pub (The Bull), cafe and fish and chip shop. We used Sergio’s not far from Trearddur bay for fish and chips and it was fabulous, extremely well priced too!

Fantastic site

We have just spent 6 nights at this fabulous site. A lovely, peaceful site, with the bonus of fully serviced, hardstanding pitches and basic, but clean toilet and shower facilities. Dogs and families are made to feel welcome. The pitches are generous in size, and all have amazing views across the Anglesey countryside. There is good TV and mobile phone reception. Friendly, and helpful owners . A great base to explore all Anglesey has to offer. I am sure we shall be returning in the future!

Four night stay July

We love this site. Elen and Arwyn are very friendly and welcoming. This is a new site for 2021. It is a lovely quiet site with nice open views over to Parys mountain. The site itself is spacious . There are hard standings and separate water taps and grey waste for each unit. There are ladies and gents toilets and showers. It is also within easy reach of all areas of the island. In fact we like it so much that we have booked for another 9 nights at the end of August!

Excellent !

We recently spent two nights here and were more than happy with what this new CL has to offer. large hard standing pitches each with own water waste and electricity. Lovely open views from each pitch with great sunsets. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. We will absolutely use this site again when visiting Anglesey.
