Fabulous site

Just spent 4 nights at this lovely site - very peaceful, clean and tidy and an excellent view. Owner Allan is a real gent, several visits to make sure all was well, offered info on the area, lives next to the site and is always available if you need him. Site has easy access directly off the main road, security lighting and a gated entrance with good pull-in. Thank you Allan, we will visit again :)

we'll be back!

Great CL, convenient for the Axe valley, Seaton, Sidmouth etc. Good access, large pitches with fresh water and metered EHU. Allan is friendly and helpful. Donkey Sanctuary close by well worth a visit, free to park & enter, great cafe.

Outstanding in every respect

Just a brief three night stay to give us a break. What a great choice. We had checked out this site a couple of years ago but could not get in but aren’t we glad that we could on this occasion. The location is just about as perfect as it could possibly be with stunning views in all directions, but a pitch was ideally positioned to catch the beautiful sunsets. Everything about the site has been created to provide the best experience – it’s always great to have a personal water supply as well as EH, you Everything about the site has been created to provide the best experience – it’s always great to have a personal water supply as well as EHU - and also being able to let grey waste drain away, saves a lot of hassle. Allan has provided a first-class, chemical toilet disposal point with hand, washing facilities, I wish every site could do this. The fact that each pitch has a hardstanding and a grassed area, and they are very big, means that you can choose to position your van and/awning, however, you wish, and as has been advised previously, the landscaping of the site means that there is very little road noise. We really like the fact that Allan challenges Electric separately, as that is much fairer, given that his guests can have widely varying needs. Recommendations for local activities/facilities Jurassic bites at Seaton Hole Cove. Great little café on the side of the cliff overlooking the sea, between Seaton and Beer. Amazing bacon baps. Pecorama, Beer. Brilliant for kids and grown up railway enthusiasts Largigi on Lyme Regis Esplanade. Absolutely fabulous Thai restaurant, sensibly priced and excellent service. It’s a café during the day. Chris's cafe at Axemouth Harbour, delightful outside eatery alongside the estuary. Fab sausage sandwich. There are no pubs within easy, walking distance, the two in Axemouth village seem to be very nice, and in great settings, although we didn’t actually try them. Allan came and had a long chat with us on our last evening and told us more about the site and his reasons for keeping it so immaculate. He is, without doubt, an ideal site owner as he really cares about his guests' experience and absolutely wants you to have a first class day. Can’t recommend this site highly enough, it is exceptional and we will definitely be back. Thank you Allan.

Nice Little Gem

We have just returned from a four night stay at Emmett’s Farm. This is a rural site with lovely views of the cliffs and sea at Seaton. The pitches are large and spacious and each pitch has a water tap, which is a bonus and electric meter, so you can check your usage. We had a friendly welcome from Allan the owner. There is a bus service which stops outside the site, if you flag it down between Seaton and Lyme Regis. We used the bus to go into Seaton which worked well. There is a nice walk to some fishing lakes on a public footpath, and a dog walk. The recycling facilities are excellent as is the chemical disposal point. We would stay here again.

One of the best CLs we have stayed on.

We spent last week at this exceptional CL with a pitch overlooking the Axe valley. Although access is very easy off a main A-road, there was very little traffic noise because of the clever way the CL has been landscaped. The CL is divided into two levels with very large pitched separated by large grass area, and metered EHU and water to each pitch. Allan takes great pride in his CL and keeps it in immaculate condition, including a lovely walk with closely mowed paths through the adjacent field. He made us very welcome and gave us a lot of information about the area and places to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much, but it was sad for Allan that we were the only ones there apart from a campervan that stayed over for one night. It is a CL that deserves to be kept busy. We will certainly be coming back again. Marie & Alun

Lovely little site

Stayed over New Year for a few nights. Cracking little site, really clean and tidy, massive pitches. View into the valley is amazing, really peaceful and Allan was really friendly and welcoming. Let us arrive early and leave late as there was nobody on the pitch before or after. Actual charge is £15 per night plus 35p per unit of electricity, each pitch has it's own meter and you pay via bank transfer on departure. Pretty fair way of doing things and the cost worked out about the same despite us having the heater on the whole time. Definitely coming back, can't recommend enough.

Excellent site

This really is a gem of a CL.. Easy access, Spacious level pitches with water tap and waste water on each pitch. Most of the pitches have good views - what's not to like!. Alan the owner is very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to visit only a short drive away.

Really Great Site

Just returned from 10 nights at this CL. Huge pitches with electric and water. Some had drains for grey waste. The chemical waste disposal was under cover and spotless. The owner Allan was very laid back and a most interesting person. Our golden retriever enjoyed the huge well kept orchard dog walk. Lots of interesting places to visit.

What a site!

Just had to leave a review to echo what everyone else has already said, this really is a fantastic site and ideal for exploring up and down the coast. We stayed at Emmetts Farm for two weeks late Aug and the pitches are just excellent and huge! Each one with own water and elec, a lovely flat hard standing area leading out to your very own large grass area. Wonderful views and a very quiet site and the toilet emptying is second to none and very well thought out with sensor lighting and hand washing facilities as well. Finally, Allan is very welcoming with a wealth of knowledge always looking to recommend areas of interest or attractions to match your individual requirements. If you are looking to travel to this area, I would definitely recommend this site.
