A Very pleasant stay

I appreciate the welcome email informing us of what's around the area. Our pitch was practically level for our caravan, did need a little levelling but nothing too drastic. The site is well maintained and nice and clean and easy to access waste areas. On arrival there is a sign indicating how to pitchup which is a very useful aid as well as having information about the layout on hand online too. We had some idea of the area as we have stayed around Garstang before. A lovely walk along the canal side to the Guy's Thatched Hamlet and 2 other pubs. We wanted somewhere to stay for the weekend, Friday till Sunday and found it it be perfect and will no doubt book again. Its a shame that the Barton Grange garden centre nearby isn't dog friendly but that is no fault of this site at all. We travelled to the near by Beacon Fell Country Park with our dog (approx. 6 miles in car), well worth a visit. Fantastic walks and scenery. Perfect CL Site and will definitely book again sometime soon

Great Stopover

We stopped for one night on our way home to Scotland from Portsmouth. I liked the fact that I could check availability online via their website, book a pitch and pay. An automatic reply gave us all the information needed on arrival. We enjoyed an excellent quiet night and the owner stopped by in the morning to check all was ok. Recommended.

Fabulous CL site

We stayed here for 2 nights 24/2/23 and what a find it is. Excellent communication from the start with the owners with emails with local information places to go eat/visit as a bouns. £20 on ,Easy access to the site-5 gravel hard standing pitches not completely level so some blocks needed, it’s lovely views and well maintained and all water&ehu easy to find, just a tip the shower and toilet block is back out the main entrance and up the owners drive,it’s in old building with a new shower which is very clean and has hot water. Local canal is a short walk away, also walking distance to the local town bilsborrow and pub about 20mins, tv reception was good and has 16amp. We loved this site and will definitely return also dog friendly.also we never had a chance to visit the on-site cafe which is open Thursday-Saturday 10-4 it looked lovely and was busy so will test out next visit. Owd Nells pub was lovely food and dog friendly

A very pleasant stay

Lovely quiet site convenient to visiting the local area. Good pubs and restaurants close by, and the site was extremely clean and tidy. Would definitely come again.

Very comfortable CL

We only stopped 1 night, en route south from home in Cumbria. Excellent advance information about directions etc, and we found the CL easily.Facilities are good - water to pitch, excellent recycling. The toilet was fine, we didn’t use the shower. Surprising amount of passing traffic on the lane, but overall very quiet and peaceful.

Winter weekend break.

I stayed here for a short weekend break in Nov 22. The site was easily reached, the spaces spacious. The owner provided a wealth of information on local amenities, and there’s a lovely cafe on site where I bought Avery nice breakfast. It was a very peaceful site, one I would be happy to return to and explore the surrounding nature in the summer.

Moss lane park

Stayed for 4 nights and it’s a lovely site, close to Garstang and garden centre. Plenty of near by site seeing. Will definitely return.

Hidden gem

Site has 6 hard standing pitches all with 16 amp electric and water on each pitch. Set in lovely surroundings reasonably close to the village of Bilsborrow-about 1 mile. Access to site is along a single track road but there are plenty of passing places. The road is used as a cut through from the nearby A6 so be careful walking along the road as some motorists think it’s a race track! On the plus side you can walk into the village on the canal towpath which is quicker anyway. Toilet facilities are adequate with one toilet and shower which is a short walk and attached to owners house. Owners are lovely and friendly and helpful with advice re local amenities. Next door is a cafe-iced bakes- which sells the most amazing home made cakes. Wouldn’t hesitate to return next year. We’ll worth a visit

Lovely Cl

We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way to Scotland. Warm welcome from the owner. Attractive, well maintained site close to M6. Field available for dog walks, delicious cakes from the cafe next door. Would definitely stay again, thank you
