Unreservedly recommended

I don’t normally write reviews but have been so impressed with this CL that I really wanted to let others know how good it is. Emily was away on the day we arrived but took the trouble to call and text to make sure we had all of the details and made it very clear that if we had any issues whatsoever then we should call her. We had no issues. Flat site with lovely views out towards Penhale Sands. Level hardstandings. Shower and a couple of spacious loos with hot water sinks. Way beyond adequate and perfectly clean and tidy. Well situated for the North Cornwall coast but for us the major surprise was the vast network of footpaths that were nearby. We walked from Holywell along the SWCP to Perranporth and then walked back to Little Treamble via some attractive villages and another day we did a country circular walk from the site and barely saw another soul. All in all one of the very best sites we have stayed on, unreservedly recommended.

5 star cl site

We have been coming here since 2000. Emily and Paul are the best hosts and are so friendly and helpful . At night they open up the cornish larder which is stocked with local products, unfortunately I am now addict to gin lol, thank you Emily 🤗. They have a patio heater and also a cosy s barn conversion if it's too cold to sit out. Dogs are very welcome too(owners are welcome if they are behaved). The views are fabulous, cleanliness of toilets and showers are excellent. Keep up the great work both of you !!

A 5 star CL site

Having spent a week over the late May Bank holiday at this CL I can only say what a gem, the site is clean and tidy with amazing views towards the coast and a prime spot to see stunning sunsets from your pitch or having a drink on the sun terrace. Lovely walks direct from the site, and the site is convenient placed to visit the amazing beaches in the area. Thank you Emily for a warm welcome.

One of our favourite CL’s

For several years we have holidayed at this great CL. We love the location as you can get anywhere in Cornwall easily. The CL has recently changed ownership and the new owners have made some updates like handstandings, widening the entrance and changing the shop into a tasteful bar with local produce. The bar is not a noisy venue but a quiet place to have a drink watching the beautiful sunsets which you can see from the site.

Perfect holiday

This site has always been one of our most favourite in the club network due to the fact that the owners have always made us feel like part of the family. When we heard that Tina and Barrie were retiring we were worried about what would happen with the new owners and whether they would be up to the standard set by Tina. We have been pleasantly surprised by Emily and Paul, the additions and improvements that they have already made have made this site a sort after destination and as more people find this gem of a site it will become harder to find a space in the book to get in. The facilities are clean, pitches are level hardstanding for the van and awning on grass with great views to the sea (in the distance but still visible). The terrace bar is a must to visit in the evening for a G&T or local produced cider etc, infact all produce in the shop is Cornwall produced. Em and Paul are fantastic hosts and take time to sit and have a chat with you and are constantly making sure that everything is how you would expect it, but with such a relaxed style that does not infringe on your holiday. We have already booked for next year as the site is filling up fast, and for good reason. Perfectly placed for access to local attractions like Perranporth, Newquay, National trust houses etc. walking direct off the site you can get to Hollywell bay and Perranporth (about an hour each way). We love it!! This little gem of a site is well worth a visit!!

A Jem of a CL

We stayed here for 10 nights in August 2016 and found it to be a lovely CL. As said previously facilities are clean and well kept, owners are very friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will return in the future. P.S. The pasties are delicious.
