Simply great
We arrived here on the 20th May after an easy journey on good - if hilly - roads with the site entrance immediately off the roundabout, and were greeted by cheerful friendly and very helpful staff. We were directed to our pitch where we were allowed, as is everyone, to site the van according to ones wishes. The fully serviced pitch had everything to hand even a picnic table with two bench seats. There was a slight slope of some 50mm across the pitch, not a problem.
The site is well protected on the perimeter with trees but inside it is quite open with large pitches and lots of open space. There is some hedging and plants to afford a degree of privacy but not too much.
The facilities, some four blocks, are very clean, some are ultra modern and even have irons and piped music. Privacy cubicles are the norm.
There is a large dog walking field.
The whole site, quite large and full for the Bank holiday weekend has a sense of tranquility about it though there was a lot going on. We noticed a lot of children who had lots of space to play safely as well as a playground. The football field is out of use at the moment due to drainage work for more facilities.
All in all a great site and we can honestly say we were sad to leave.
