Wonderful site / area

Arrival and booking in was effortless, staff very friendly and welcoming. Facilities always spotlessly clean and maintained. For dog owners who like to walk this site is gold! There are so many walks though the beautiful park and beyond, 10/15 minutes walk into town through the park where you can pick up a lovely hot drink at the airstream cafe. So much to see! Play area for children on site and a brilliant dog field with plenty of dog poop bins available. This site is in our top 5. Top tip if you enjoy tv don't forget your cable needs to be a good length on some pitches (we forgot ours) also their is a free and premium WiFi service both not great (didn't bother us)

Fast becoming our favourite site (apart from internet connection!)

This is perhaps our favourite site (together with Moreton in Marsh): based on location, cleanliness and really friendly and helpful wardens. The wardens were particularly helpful on our most recent stay where my husband had a foot injury and we needed to be relocated nearer to the shower block; thank you. The site leads straight on to a path that takes you on to a lovely walk through the park (beautiful in all seasons and weather), into the lovely town of Cirencester with its wide selection of shops and places to eat/drink. Even more convenient is the new access path opposite the exit gate, with a 5 minute walk taking you to the old kennels where there is a new cafe/restaurant, a children’s play area and the lovely Old Corinium micro brewery and pub. The only real downside is the virtually non existent internet connection even for the most basic uses of texting etc. Despite our many visits here already, we are already looking forward to our next one.

Peaceful and Picturesque Parkland Site

It has been a long time since my last visit and I was amazed at this peaceful parkland site.I think all I need to say has been mentioned before, and now I can see why it was full even though this was October.Cirencester town centre is lovely to stroll around, and look out for the shops down the inglenooks. Since my last visit a new footpath and tea rooms are now available in the park, and a club discount is possible. There is a micro brewery on the same complex, but opening hours are limited.

Amazing location to explore Cirencester

What a fabulous site! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - a lovely walk through the park to the beautiful town of Cirencester and plenty to explore. The site was immaculate and the staff extremely helpful. We definitely plan to return.

Almost perfect, but not quite.

There is nothing to say about this site that hasn’t already been said. It is simply terrific. However, isn’t it unbelievable that in this day and age WiFi can be so unobtainable. Whilst I accept that WiFi isn’t always what you would like on a campsite, this one is far and away the worst I have come across so far. It’s a good job my life doesn’t depend on it, but naturally not having it has caused some issues. For example this is my third attempt at trying to post my review 😂

Very impressed with this site and we have stayed on many......

We have just returned from a four night stay at the site. The staff went above and beyond to help us before arrival and they do a great job maintaining the site. The facilities were spotless and it never felt busy considering the site was almost full during our stay. Pitches were a good size and the whole site feels well maintained. It was quiet too. The location was brilliant for us. We didn't use the car once - it was an easy walk in to town (remember a torch in the evening) and walking round the Bathurst estate was brilliant. Easy walk to Waitrose too to stock up on supplies.

Uniquely peaceful and well appointed site

Surprisingly peaceful and intimate for a fairly large site. There are good mature plantings of trees and shrubs and good use of grass spaces making this large site intimate, as if having smaller 'rooms'. Great use of space around each pitch, and nice areas given over to wildlife. Great proximity and walking access to Cirencester Park and Bathurst Estate, and from there further countryside or into the beautiful town. Good for cycling too, either north and east into more hilly countryside, or south to the Cotswold Water Park which is pretty flat. Even when park close a walk to/from town for shopping and/or restaurants and pubs is very doable.

A September stay

We stayed at Cirencester Park this September. The sizes of the pitches varied enormously but we arrived just after 1pm on a Sunday and there were a good selection of pitches to choose from. We were greeted by a warden who remembered us from a visit earlier this year. As a partially disabled camper I found the wardens to be friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had run out of Gas, and so had the site, but a warden came to tell us when the gas had been delivered, brought the bottle to our motorhome and connected it for us. The site is well placed for exploring Cirencester with easy access to the town through Cirencester Park. There are numerous different paths that you can take with your dog through the park. Plenty to do also if you want to go off site, including Westonbirt national arboretum, Chedworth Roman Villa, Tetbury and many other cotswold villages to explore. We have been to Cirencester and stayed for two visits of two weeks, and would definitely come back again as there is still more to explore.

Great location disappointed by the pitch

We visited Cirencester this August bank holiday and would say the site is in a great location as you can walk through the park into the town itself. The main toilet block is kept clean and there are plenty of showers. However I was disappointed by the pitch we had there are some great pitches but arriving at 3 on the Friday we where left with very limited choice, the hardstandings don't look cared for, the grass pitches around the small toilet block don't look much better, as the grass doesn't look like it's been cut recently, on our pitch I had to use the full extent of the leveling blocks to just about get the unit level, something I have never really had to do in 25 years of using club sites, this is also bearing in mind I am paying extra for a hardstanding. An improvement would be to state the days the food vans are onsite.

Great location

We stayed on this site a Couple of weeks ago and enjoyed how close to Cirencester park. And close to the town this site is. We were able to stroll into Cirencester in 20 minutes where we found ample good eating establishments. There is also a cafe in the park 300 meters away from the entrance of the site is also worth a visit We also enjoyed walking around Cirencester park which is a lovely place to walk around The site itself has nice spacious pitches and is relatively quiet although you do get a little bit of noise from the agricultural college next door (mainly at home time so not a problem) all the facilities are spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful We were touring around and actually returned to the site over the last weekend and again we enjoyed it even though the site was absolutely full it was still a very pleasant stay. I would just say that because of the pressure of booking in there was one staff member who is rather abrupt in their manner and tone of voice But it did not detract from our stay at this lovely site and we will be retuning soon.
