last minute weekend break

Lovely peaceful site, lovely countryside and facilities spotless. Close to Grafham water which was great as we hired 2 bikes and cycled the 10 mile circular route. Nice cafe there too. Wardens were very friendly and helpful. This site is lovely for us as its not too far from home, and ideal for a weekend getaway. Not sure if there would be enough for kids to do, but we'll come again.

A quick visit to Grafham Water

This is a great site, only a short walk from Graham Water, but the wonderful thing about this site is the peace. Want a relaxing stay then this site is perfect, good clean facilities nice big pitches, lovely countryside, and good views of the eclipse. My stay was a mid-week stay and out of season but I left feeling fully refreshed.  Well done to the wardens for keeping everything so well care for.

Relaxing

Small, quite and relaxing. Great location with Grafham lake a short walk away, and the possibility of longer walks (about 10 miles around the lake), 1 cafe (about 1 mile) and another (about 4 miles) and a small shop in village all available. Very clean modern facilities and very helpful wardens. Not the greatest for children at this time of year (March) unless they are keen walkers! We will take our bikes next time.

Relaxing, Peaceful, Perfect

A great site, about a half a mile to walk to Grafham Water, but the great thing about this site is the peace. Want a relaxing stay then this site is perfect, good clean facilities nice big pitches, lovely countryside, good views going home with batteries fully re-charged! I must stress we were here out of peak season.

Peace, perfect peace!

This site is lovely and peaceful and quite compact. The wardens are so nice and friendly and make you feel very welcoming, offering advice and information when asked.  The showers and toilets are absolutely spotless, couldn't fault them at all.  We will return to this site later in the year.

You Couldn't Ask For A Nicer Site

This was the first time I have stayed on this site. I have been meaning to stay here for the last couple of years, although I have only just got round to it. The site is friendly, the wardens are incredibly welcoming. You couldn't ask for more from a caravan club site. If you like walking or cycling, this is the site to visit. There miles upon miles of walks and cycle tracks to keep you amused for days. I'm told in the summer, you can just relax and have a dip in the pool. I will certainly be visiting again this summer.

Peaceful but lovely

Just come back after staying a few days here , site very clean and wardens very friendly , lovely walks and cycle rides from the site . If you run out of anything food wise try the community shop , turn left get to the end of the road walk across turn left into Brampton road keep walking until you get to the village hall on the left and a porta cabin is there they sell lovely fresh bread cakes and every day stuff quite reasonable priced.

lovely site, well located

we spent the first 3 nights of the season here and it was as good as ever. walked down to the cinnamon indian in grafham, also as good as usual. surprised that there are no recycling facilities on site. v unusual for Caravan club, and needs sorting. we took ours away with us, but not everyone can / will.

Good Site

Have stayed at this site a couple of times over the years and have always had a pleasant stay. Would recommend cycling around the reservoir, you can hire bikes at the reservoir for a reasonable daily rate (around £20 per bike).
