Great site. Near town and beachfront. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good pitches.
Always Good
Spent a few nights here recently. First trip out this year to Minehead, having been here four times last year. Really convenient for walking to the beach or in the opposite direction to the hills, dogs love it.
Showers and amenities excellent as always.
A Lovely Site
I have just returned from a 5 day stay; a very quiet site even though I was next to the fire station and I was probably as close to the road as you can be. A 20 minute walk into the town and then to the beach was great for me and my dog. This was also my first trip in a motorhome after many years of caravans and everything worked perfectly; I did venture to Lynton and Lynmouth via Porlock which is an interesting journey. As CheshireCBR said you will probably need levelling blocks. The toilets and showers were superb. The caravan club wifi is slow by modern standards - I was limited to 1Mb download and 256 upload which made it painfully slow to upload my photos to the cloud until I reverted to my EE 3G (no 4G) which was much quicker. The wifi was fine to have multiple devices connected under the same ID so I was able to update my Apple devices at the same time (it appears that each devices gets a 1Mb download)

Minehead
Lovely welcome. I have a small problem in walking and found the slope to the shower block quite difficult. Should have pitched on the lower terrace but did not fancy being too near the fire station. We were on a first trip in a motorhome (had caravans for years) and were not being very brave. Advised not to go to Porlock and Lynton and Lynmouth and then the road through Dunster to Exmoor was closed so we felt a bit frustrated. We walked to the beach which was very pleasant.

A nice holiday
My daughter and I spent a week at this site in august 2014, the site was lovely and clean and the staff were really helpful, the site is not level and being new to caravanning I had not got any levelling blocks and they don't sell them in the little shop on site, but we made the best of it and after the first night they moved us to a more level pitch for the rest of the week, it is a bit of a walk to the beach and other attractions which for kids to do daily is a bit had, but over all the site is well kept and the toilets and shower block was always spotless.
Great New Year
Arrived New Years Eve and greeted by friendly staff. Only 2 pitches left, 31 and 18. Pitch 31 is a joke as it is right at the end of the culdesac in what looks like the turning point. You need to pitch side on, it is sloping and in my view should not be used as a pitch! Pitch 18 was fine. Despite the site being full the facilities were spotless as always. We have been here many times before and the location is ideal for lovely walks along the beach. The nearby fish and chip shop is excellent
another GREAT Christmas at Minehead
The Temporary wardens (and gorgeous cats) were very nice and welcoming. We were abit disappointed there wasn't a get together in reception on Christmas Eve, as we've always found it to be really enjoyable and a good way to meet fellow caravanners. I even met one of the Stags and Deer that visit the site on the way to the toilet block Christmas night (which was a truly amazing experience). Have already booked for next Christmas.
New year break
This was our first visit to the site. Very good location. Staff very friendly, site very clean and tidy. Will definitely return.

Loved This Site
Excellent location, just 20 mins to the beach and coastal path. Dunster Forest also within walking distance. Temporary wardens were very helpful and friendly. Not much for children out of season but great for couples with dogs. Would definitely go back.
Hidden gem
Being new members to the club we were hoping for a good things especially as it was new year, and guess what we were not disappointed we loved it. It's so quite in fact we drove straight pass it the first time, hint next to fire station! Lovely site, great location we walked to Minehead, Dunster etc. when we arrived all the caravans had Christmas lights on looked so lovely. Will defiantly return.
