A Great Time Away
This is a large site with plenty of space, well set out and adjacent to the beach. The facilities were well maintained, clean and the showers were hot and no push button nonsense! The site staff were helpful, friendly and very accommodating.
There are loads of walks in the area and it is a very dog friendly place. It’s definitely worth visiting the Mull of Galloway and Portpatrick. The site is remote and you’ll need to visit Stranraer for fuel and food shops etc. The Ship Inn in Drummore is a lovely small pub, dog friendly and 5 minutes away by car.
As always on the west coast of Scotland the weather can be wild at times although we got a fair amount of sunshine which always helps.
