Excellent welcome

Arrived at St Davis site to the most friendly and warm welcome. The young man ( sorry we couldn't remember his name ) who booked us in was friendly, jovial and very welcoming. We felt on cloud 9 before we even got on our pitch because of the fabulous welcome. A very spacious site with huge pitches, all on grass and plenty of room between pitches. Scenery from here is breathtaking. Shower block and toilets were immaculate. A short walk to Whitesands beach which will impress all. One of the best things here is there is a mini bus every 1/2 hour which stops right outside the site which will take you into St Davids and several other locations. An all day ticket is £4 each which we thought was great value. St Davids is a must visit with some lovely pubs and more importantly a fabulous Cathedral, well worth a visit. We love the new club arrangement for pitching your unit between two markers and able to pitch driving in or reversing in. For us with a continental motorhome with the door on the right, it's a winner. Theresa on reception as we left was great, complementing our wonderful arrival. Congratulations to this site and its staff. Defiantly returning to this site, we usually stay on CLs but this Club site is the best we have stayed on.

Excellent site in a great location

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2023. Two adults and two dogs. Great location with great views of the surrounding hills and countryside. Very clean site, well laid out and we had plenty of room on our grass pitch. Kids have grown up now but there is a lovelt playground (looks brand new). Convenient to walk into St Davids with two dogs along a relatively quiet country lane or you can get the coastal bus for £4 for a daily pass - really recommend this as its a hop on/off and lots of stops around the area and runs regularly too. Some really nice local walks at different distances so something for everyone to enjoy. Dog walk onsite is quite small but you won't be concerned as you can walk for miles! We have a motorhome so walked/used the bus during the day. We would have liked a food van visit on an evening as this offers a nice treat and saves taking the van out if we want to eat out instead of cooking. Would thoroughly recommend and will be staying again for sure!

Lovely Lleithyr Meadow

We spent just 2 nights here - our first taste of a club site. It was a great experience. Friendly warden, very spacious pitches, water, CDP etc at several locations. It was out of school holidays and we couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful it was and yet virtually all pitches were taken. Amazing. The toilet block is so clean - no idea how they keep it so perfectly but it is a real pleasure to use. Lots of loos, showers, cubicles so never had to queue. And the location is superb: our favourite part of Pembrokeshire with outstanding scenery, wildlife and vistas. Will definitely be back.

Another enjoyable stay

We have stayed her several times before. Always drawn back to it (despite the fact that it often windy due to its exposed nature). Warden were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Pitch 46 was good and flat facing the right way for lovely sunsets. It was dark skies week and loved it. Make sure you have a torch. Walk up to Carn Lidi and Port Melgan Beach not as strenuous as it looks but access to beach itself is quite difficult down over boulders so take care. Suggest if going on boat trip use Thousand Island company. Excellent, very easy to book by phone and gave me a 10% discount. Celtic Coaster bus is excellent. I discovered Porthclais on a tour round where the is National Trust Car Park and cafe! Though I was en route so didn't get off there this time. Runs hourly and great if you can't walk far and want to go up and down to beach. Its a steep walk up lane.

Beautiful peaceful site with really kind and helpful managers

Stayed here end of September, lovely site in wonderful location, There are beautiful views, and a fabulous beach just down the road. There is a little bus which passes every hour it goes down to the beach at Whitesand Bay, then comes back up and goes into St Davids - you can hop on and off, so its very convenient. The site and facilities are very clean and well looked after. The managers are exceptionally helpful, I was having problems with the booking app and they went to endless trouble to sort out my next booking for me. As a centre for exploring the St Davids area this is a great place to stay. One thing I would mention is that to start off with I accidentally ended up on the site next door, which I see has happened to several others!

Fabulous views a walkers dream

Read directions in book as satnav does want you to go to the other site that backs onto this one.Copilot made sure we were on right track. Lovey site nice pitch in middle plenty of space between vans and clear in the middle. Views from site and sunrise and sunset beautiful. We use legs, electric bikes and local transport once pitched up and although I had a printed off the cycle route we spent our 4 days walking. Easy to get into St David’s, small town we like the Farmers Arms pub for a drink as the Bishops had all inside tables empty but reserved for later and we couldn’t sit inside. Did 2 walks over St David’s Head and Carn Llidi , would say in places some climbing to do if following the coast path. We also walked a circular walk from Whitesands to St Justinians and back on coast path. Spent a few hours watching the surf school on a Whitesands beach. Beautiful place we will be back here.

Lovely site with the added bonus of maybe spotting a badger

Access a bit confusing as not signed clearly. There is a nother site with the same name next door and we ended up in there (we were told this happens on a regular basis). Lovely welcome on check in and they apologised for all the badgers that visit as night (thought seeing badgers would be a lovely bonus). My partner did see one late at night but I missed it. This is a lovely laid out site and the shower & toilet facilities spotless. Would definitely recommend this site.

Lovely Site and Stunning Location

We have stayed in this site in numerous occasions and the toilet cleaning was always early at 10.30am, however it is now at 10.00am resulting in a manic rush by everyone one wanting to use the facilities. We assumed this is because there are only two wardens on duty at a time where most sites have more than this which enables visitors a more leisurely start to the day. Everything else about the site is lovely so only the one complaint😩

Lovely Wardens, beautiful wild location

Firstly I need to say that the wardens and managers are lovely, the warmest and friendliest we have met so far. Site itself is basic, but very well kept. no shop on site (but there is a great shop and supermarket at site next door) There are signs up everywhere for no ball games and as there is no playing field on this site and only a small park, not much for kids to do on site. The location is stunning! If you like star gazing you are in for a treat. Very little light pollution giving an excellent view of the Milky Way on a clear night, pitches 25-27 at the back end of the site are excellent for thus (as long as your not pitched next to members who like flashing fairy lights all night or awning lights brighter than the surface of the sun!) I would probably avoid pitching near toilet block, sceptic tanks and dog walking strip. I found the smell of the sceptic tanks around that area a little overwhelming at Times. WhiteSands beach is beautiful but not dog friendly It is a 15 minute walk away BUT it is down a pretty steep one track road - there is a big carpark at the bottom. that charges £5 for the day Didn’t see any badgers but did see lots of rabbits and ravens

Lleithyr Meadow is our happy place

We've been coming here for many years and the site is the best, in terms of location, views, operations, facilities, pitches etc. Ideally placed for walking to St Davids, or along the coast patch or down to Whitesands beach. Friendly staff and a spotless site.
