CAMC Magazine 2017

Having just marked its 60th anniversary, the Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine has plenty to celebrate, ranking number 3 in the UK for its monthly magazine circulation.

The figures, calculated by The Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) that holds circulation data on the UK media industry, show the popular members’ magazine has reached a record circulation of 381,858 copies per month – making it bigger than household favourites like HELLO!, BBC Top Gear and Good Housekeeping.

This year the Club magazine, formerly titled 'En-Route,' recently celebrated its diamond anniversary and since launching in 1963, has continued to provide a useful source of inspiration and information to its readers. With the number of Brits owning a leisure vehicle expected to grow by over 40% by 2030, it is an exciting time for the Magazine. In this new era, the publication went digital with an app reader in 2016 and was renamed Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine in 2017. In the last year, over 41k members downloaded the Digital Magazine and viewed over 3.5m pages!

The Caravan and Motorhome Club helps its members get more from the great outdoors, whether glamping or touring, representing the interests of over 1.1 million caravan, motorhome, campervan and trailer tent owners across the UK. A recent survey by members also found that 55 per cent said that the Magazine was their only or preferred way of hearing about the Club, 72 per cent read every issue and 89 per cent still like to receive a printed issue.

Nick Lomas, Director General of the Caravan and Motorhome Club comments: "Our Club was founded in 1907 and our 60-year-young magazine has become an institution in its own right. To hear we are number three in the top of the UK magazine charts is incredible and we are privileged to provide a record number of members with a regular source of information and inspiration on where to pitch up, how to get more from the great outdoors and offer them technical advice, leisure vehicle reviews and more."

"We look forward to a new era for Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine and would like to thank all our readers who share our passion for this incredible lifestyle pursuit."
